Hallam Road Automotive Hallam Road Automotive was founded in 2001 by father and son Elie and George Chakkour. In 2006 we opened our workshop, in the same location it stands today.

We began as a mobile mechanical service, meeting providing all repairs and servicing at locations convenient to our customers. We now employ three qualified mechanics and our services still include an emergency breakdown service, keeping our old van up-to-date and useful. We offer drop-off and pickup services within our local area and a loan car if your repair will take more than a few hours. For shorter repairs, our comfortable waiting room includes a TV and tea and coffee facilities. Our loyalty program is available to all returning customers. Please contact Elie 7 days a week on our during- or before-hours numbers. All of hour work is done in-house and we pride ourselves on getting the job done right the first time. Hallam Road Automotive is the one stop shop for all your auto needs, and we'll never void your new car warranty. For more information about what we can do for your car, check out our services, tyres or fleet pages. Find out what our customers really think over at our testimonials page, or check out our current and upcoming specials. Still have questions? Contact us today, or book a service online.

Toyota DPF class action case won:
Applies to Hilux, Prado and Fortuner vehicles fitted with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) purchased between October 2015 – April 2020.

Previous customer satisfaction program was to fit the 2018 revised DPF, 5th injector and software to earlier models.

Even post 2018 the DPF system has still proved troublesome, with further enhancements in 2020 consisting of another revised DPF (euro 6 compliant), revised 5th injector unit and revised software.

Toyota are appealing the decision - read all about it here - https://www.toyota.com.au/support/dpfinformation

Keep in mind, even before this class action, Toyota are offering a 10 year, unlimited km warranty on the DPF system.
