Scott brought his VH in for one of our in house 383 Holden stroker packages, along with a full engine bay tidy-up and refresh.

The 383 was built with performance, reliability and street manners in mind, consisting of:

• C.O.M.E Racing 383 block clearance
• 4-bolt mains
• Oil modification for improved oil pressure efficiency
• C.O.M.E Racing 383 premium stroker kit
• Bullet Racing front timing cover
• Edelbrock alloy heads
• High Rise single-plane manifold
• Hydraulic billet camshaft
• Johnston hydraulic lifters
• Aussie Muscle alloy sump
• ARP hardware throughout
• APD billet carburettor

To support the new combination and a tidy up the car also received:

• Electric SPAL fan setup
• Astra power steering, custom mounted and plumbed
• Complete MSD system mounted and wired throughout
• Wilwood master cylinder and proportioning valve
• Rod Shop Wilwood 6-pot front brake setup
• Custom catch can mounting and plumbing Custom 1/2 inch return line and Aero motive fuel regulator

A full engine bay tidy-up and refresh brought everything together, giving the VH a clean and functional finish to match the new powerplant.

The return of RNAMUC is here, and it came to us for a complete new driveline transplant.

Under the bonnet now sits a Dart 406ci SBC producing 688hp, built with pump fuel reliability and street manners in mind. Backing it up is a shotgun performance Turbo 400 transmission and converter, sending the power through a custom-built 9-inch diff fitted with Wilwood rear brakes.

To support the new combination, we also carried out:
• Custom 1 7/8” extractors
• Custom 3” stainless steel exhaust
• GJ Driveline alloy tailshaft
• Custom stainless steel brake lines and braided lines
• Custom 1/2” alloy fuel lines
• ICE Ignition system mounted and wired
• Complete vehicle rewire ( switched on auto electrics )
• Transmission cooler mounted and plumbed
• Custom 3-core copper radiator

This build was all about creating a tough, reliable street car that’s just as happy cruising as it is trying to put the power down on the little 225 tire.

Keith first brought his Capri to us nearly 15 years ago for a mini tub, leaf spring relocation, chassis connectors from front to rear and a custom-built 9-inch diff to suit the 15x9 rear wheels. At the time, we also test fitted a Windsor engine and modified the transmission tunnel to accommodate the c 10 transmission.

After undergoing a full restoration, the Capri recently returned to us to complete the build and bring the vision to life.

The latest work included:

• Brand new stainless steel fuel and brake lines
• Powder-coated front crossmember and suspension arms
• Custom-built 9-inch diff featuring 3.7 gears housed in a cast steel Strange centre section
• In-house fabricated CalTracs system designed specifically for the Capri
• Fuel cell installation while retaining the factory fuel filler location
• Custom-fabricated extractors to suit the 347 Windsor conversion An in house 347 hydraulic roller Windsor was built making 501hp to power the little Capri
• Full custom 3-inch stainless steel exhaust system built in house
• IC-7 digital dash seamlessly integrated into the factory cluster
• Complete vehicle rewire from front to rear by Race Wires Auto Electrics
• Custom bracket and hose setup for the under-guard mounted water pump

The Capri was completed to engineering requirements and successfully received Victorian engineering approval, making it a tough, street-driven package that retains its classic appearance while incorporating modern performance and reliability.

Mild Holden with a COME RACING 383 stroker kit with 10.8 to 1 comp with a hydraulic roller cam and an COME RACING inlet sitting on some Higgins heads cnc ported cast factory heads and a APD billet carby making good power and torque.
