We've been super quiet on posting lately due to being on the road and flat out busy!

Weve also been relatively hard to reach on the phone, any enquiries on bookings either on this interstate trip or when we are back in vic shoot through to our inbox and we will get back to you as soon as possible 🙂

The new R&D Platform has been more than pleasant to drive over its first 10 thousand kms! When doing our own research before purchasing there was a few reviews by people such as cars guide, carexpert ect ect but they werent particularly in depth when it came to actually living with the ute for a longer period of time.

We will be doing a short/mid term review on the last of the 4jj3's once we are back in vic!

Theres some things we absolutely love, and some things that are an absolute joke for a production vehicle to be stuck with from new. Stay tuned! 🙂

We are officially finally heading to Cairns!
Arriving roughly around Tuesday next week.

We have some free slots available bookings between Cairns and Brisbane, there has been many of you that placed bookings over the past 3-4 years, and we never actually made it this far North.

Danny's ute was tuned by us years ago now and we also fitted with a bunch of our parts including a genuine set of replacement injectors and our cooler kit.

Doing over 80 thousand kms since then, travelling a total 330kms, Danny booked it in for a health check and timing belt while we were there, all we found was a worn viscous hub and a happy engine.

This utes done everything from the typical bush bash abuse, burnouts, heavy towing, you name it.

Testament to tune it it right, maintain it with good parts and it will remain reliable even if you do give them a hard time on big tyres.

Here's to another 80k before we meet this ute again! 😁

Another sleeper PJ-Pk, this one put together by the owner Lachlan, and hes done a cracker job!

Its sporting a 44mm flex turbo internally gated, hi mount exhaust manifold fenix front mount, and custom intake manifold made by lachlan, along with a full exhaust the he fabbed himself.

We topped it off fitting a set of our plus 50 injectors, removing some brackets and solenoids that werent needed anymore and a tuning to suit.

As anyone who has taken something apart and put it back together with performance bits knows, theres always suprises!

The SAAS boost T lost its grub screw and detent ball winding itself all the way out, meaning zero boost control, luckily we caught it quickly only 3-4psi over what we were aiming for initially and caused no damage... bloody SAAS 😒 stick to turbosmart stuff fellas!

Anyway, it ended up restricting us to gate pressure due to no longer having a useable T, so we tuned it to suit a lower boost, and will be back to wick it up further.

This setup should make mid 200s, while being on song by 2000rpm and making bulk torque, especially once its actually fuled and the air that the turbo can provide.

You wouldn't pick this one for a near on 300hp combo 😂 making approx 280hp atw with some room left in the tune that way Hayden can skid it all day and not hurt it.

This would have to be one of 50+ high mount setup pj-pks weve tuned they still dont get old! And the more inconspicuous they are, the cooler it is!

Set of our plus 70s that run clean as a whistle off boost and on idle, returning cracker fuel economy while still flowing enough to make 280hp atw, big injectors dont necessarily mean dirty and smokey, its all in the quality of parts used to build them.

Darcy our long time customer asked us to tickle up his N47/6HP26 1 series BMW 😁

This will be the third vehicle of his that we've tuned and with cracker results!

Waking it right up throughout the rev range, and sorting the trans to shift quickly and precisely while still being smooth.

With boost only modestly increased, and fueling kept reasonable also, the improvements are still chalk and cheese, while returning much better fuel economy also!
