After owning an M57 X5, and tuning a bunch of m57 swapped patrols, the itch to jump on the 6 cylinder bandwagon a little more long term has won! 😂

This is our new R&D Piggy, a 2010 330d N57 backed by a 6hp26 ZF

Reeling off 300+hp and 700+nm at the wheels tune and intercooler only is bloody impressive, we also tuned the 6hp to speed gearshifts up, revise torque reductions, and neaten up torque convertor scheduling. These gearboxes are what the 6r80 was based on, which we are very familiar with considering theyre what comes in a px!

We will be testing, modifying and gathering data on this engine and trans combo to see what breaks, what it likes/doesnt like, basically break it, fix it, go faster and break it again 😂

We were the first to properly push the 2.5 bt50 platform, making 480hp, running an 11.8 second quarter mile in a H pattern manual, which has been, and still is the quickest and fastest in the country for over 2 and a half years now.

With what we have learnt from the little 4 cylinder, it will be interesting to see how fast we can get this one to go with two more cylinders, engineered by zee Germans! 😁

Another 200+hp 2.5 out the door!

This will be its third visit to us, this time tuning to suit the RHV5 he just fitted 😁

It first came to us standard in 2 years ago now only making 102hp and 290nm due to lazy worn injectors, we fitted 3 litres and tuned it netting 70+hp and almost 100nm increase over stock.

Hugo now having the power bug wanted a little more so we reccomended he go to an rhv5 turbo and some bigger injectors which we supplied and fitted.

this time round we netted a further 50hp and 70nm 💪 with power hanging on much further into the top end.

In total this ute from stock until now has gained more then double the horsepower, and just shy of double the torque 😂 it makes more power mid boost ramp than it did full noise when it was standard.

All while driving completely smoke free, quiet, and more fuel efficient than standard.

We tune some expensive toys from time to time, but we will always enjoy the humble little PJ 2.5's 😎

Stock little Triton in for a tickle up!

Not leaning on it hard at all, keeping AFR's safe and cool while keeping boost moderate also we netted torque increases throughout the entire rev range, it comes on sooner, harder, and will use less fuel while doing so!

These little MQ's drive so much better tuned 🙂

Many of you have asked so we have listened! 😊

Starting from late next week we will have remote tuning capabilities, starting with ECU Calibrations for the following models:

PJ-PK-UN ranger/bt50
Px1/Px2/Px3 Ranger and UR Bt50
M57/N57 Platforms

We already have the ability to tune transmissions, we need to spend some time on remote datalogging for TCM calibration, purely due to most of the adjustments being done by both data and feel, remote tuning leaves the actual on the road in person adjustments out of the equation, different data points are needed to recognise weather or not shifts are performed as they should be, without being to aggressive and harsh or to loose, we first need to confirm repeatable results without needing the vehicle infront of us.

Some goodies going on the 330d! 🫣😁

Keen to see what sort of power we can squeeze out of it with stable intake temps, considering 260whp at stock boost the intake temps were sky-rocketing to 70c.

Evan at Euro Van Tech sorted a few issues on this cool old 4x4 Ex military ambulance and gave it a decent once over while he was at it, then handballed it to us to wake it up abit, being setup as a camper van its heeeeavy!

We did a heap of development on the 5 cylinders using Ev's heavy workshop setup van as the Guinea pig allowing us to set them up to make a fair chunk more useable torque while still being super reliable which is what theyre known for!

With approximately 30hp and 100nm gain comfortably this old chook will return better fuel economy and pull up hills much easier compared to stock!

2020 dmax 4jj3 in for a tickle up!
Bog stock minus the tune rolling off the dyno with a healthy 40hp and 100+nm gain at the wheels on 33s.

With the trans tuned also to improve shift points and shift speed which makes a massive difference to driveability.

All while returning improved fuel economy! 😊
