Done a quick new fuel tank job for Marks Torana .The old one hang a-bit low and was pretty ugly so we cut some of the boot floor and came though to get it higher off the ground and add more litres. Old one was around 80L new one is 110L. Fits the car a lot nicer in my opinion. We did the baffles to catch fuel under acceleration.

We made the scoop for this car a few years ago to they always look better painted .

Some pics of Jason’s Commo at rocky nats over the weekend. To bad about the fuel pump relays and fuse that melted on the way to the next event after the 1/8 drag strip , also cars only running 60% throttle on 98 .so next time be a lot better with better tune on E85 . Pics by Brown Town Media 👌🏼

Back on the XR getting the rear sheet sorted . This side had a crash at some stage so we cut and made the whole corner again and got rid of the seem to. Going a wagon rear bar instead of the 2 bumpers on each side . Also this is having billet tail lights and one-off lenses to suit .

Got Justin’s 57 off the chassis table . Always good when they are on the ground and you can have a good look.

But really happy how it came out for 41.5 hours work ,wouldn’t have been able to get it done without Charlie on the English wheel with me .

Started the firewall design on Daryl’s HG going to be a clean engine bay and got some cool ideas for it , started making spots for fans behind front tyres to meet the guard louvers so we can get the heat out of the bay as this will be a twin turbo all under bonnet set up.

Been a-few big weeks on Daryl HG Monaro ,
Cut the old parcel shelf out because it was rusted out .Made a new one with pullmax’d step downs for the speakers to sit lower to make it easier to trim ,these will have billet speaker grills when the cars finished , also while the parcel shelf was out I made seat belt mounts for the rear seats .
Then got the mufflers in the right spot and did clearance in the floor so they don’t hang low under the car . All bead lines are gapped 25mm off all the under structure /chassis , next week I’ll start the fire wall got some cool ideas with the inner guards and engine bay stay tuned.
