2019 Holden Commodore came in unable to shift into 5th & 7th gear after the vehicle had been jump started.

A deep diagnostic investigation uncovered damaged hardware and corrupted software within the transmission control module, along with solenoid coil damage causing excessive line pressure inside the valve body.

Definitely an interesting fault to track down — these are the kinds of investigations we really enjoy! 👨🏼‍🔧⚡️

VW Crafter in with a no drive fault 🚫🚐

Customer called us out onsite where we carried out full diagnostics to pinpoint the issue. All signs led to the Body Control Module (BCM), so we removed it and brought it back to our workshop for deeper testing.

On the bench, we traced the fault to a failed chip responsible for network processing ⚡️
Chip replaced ✔️
Fully retested ✔️
Reinstalled & verified on vehicle ✔️

All faults cleared and vehicle back on the road 💪
Customer advised on root cause to prevent future issues.

A customer sent in a failed Body Control Module today hoping we could save it - and we did! it
We found a burnt IC chip, replaced it, and explained the cause of the failure.
Then we headed out to their vehicle, tested the wiring, and tracked down the short to ground.
