Airbox mod to accept 4in intake pipe, and a new intake pipe + modded hotside cooler pipe in this Barra Turbo converted PX Ranger.

Owner is happy with the new unrestricted intake.

Repairs to a CanAm SXS, had cracked the rearend and dropped the gearbox about 50mm.
Ground out the cracked area, welded up, then a bracing plate added for extra strength.

Today we became a Towing service and towed this Bug that was restored back in 2000ish. It belongs to the Bay5racing Crew Chiefs little sister that recently had a small rust repair.
It has been in that family since around 1996.

Been a good year at Bay5, after a bad start with Sydney Jamboree being Cancelled we reset and decided to do an engine swap on the SR S12, and pulled the old faithful stock sr20det and installed the freshly built SR20VET.

A quick run in and tune at EFI Performance Tuning on lowish boost befor heading to Brisbane Jamboree where we managed to best or time/ mph with a 10.7@132, then backing up the next day in qualifying with a 10.6@132mph finishing off our qualifying in a good way putting us in 5th/6thfor our class.

Next day we won our first Heat befor running into clutch isses in the 2nd round causing us to get knocked out.

A month later we ran the car at a test and tune, destroying the clutch and causing it to weld to the flywheel meaning i had no clutch and the car was stuck in gear..

A new custom billet twinplate installed and we made it back to the track on the 9th December and first pass with the car turned up into kill mode and it did just that, by completely destroying the diff.

Car is now fixed and ready to go again in the new year where we will start hunting fir a 9sec pass.

Today was the last test day for Brisbane Jamboree, where we finially cracked into the 10's, and not just into the 10's...
We went 10.7@132mph....

We almost have the SR20vet swap complete in the Bay5racing S12, getting ready to hit the drag strip again

Decided to make my own Plenum for the sr20vet build, make from 3mm plate with a 10mm base welded to the std upper runners.

Then I needed a fuelrail solution as there isn't any available in Australia for the P12/T30 runners. So I have used an S13 billet rail custom fitted.

The whole setup will go into the S12 straight after Sydney Jamboree in preparation for Brisbane Jamboree later In the year.
