Well, after an eventful weekend, Asylum’s turbo decided at 9am saturday morning that it was knock-off time and time for a couple of beers! 🍻😂

After finally getting the new turbo sorted, we got back on the road yesterday and pumped out 1,100km with 22 tonnes of cattle grids on board, bound for Richmond. 🚛💨

A massive thanks to everyone who went above and beyond to get us back on the road:

🔧 New Style Industries, Taree — thanks for the help and getting stuck into it.

💪 Ryan Brown — a local bloke who put in a massive effort, working away until 4am Sunday morning to help get us sorted. Absolute champion!

And last but definitely not least, Damian from Complete Plant Solutions — who went all the way to Cummins in Newcastle to pick up the new turbo, then fitted it and got us back on the road.

Couldn’t have done it without you blokes! 🍻

Now it’s back to business — 22 tonnes of cattle grids and 1,100km under our belt.
1,400km left to go. 💪🚛

Early morning drop-off for the crew at Rosslyn Bay Fish Market! 🐟💪

Delivered their new telehandler, ready to get to work loading and unloading the barges.

This one made the trip up from Brisbane yesterday and was on site bright and early this morning. 🚛💨

Another job done and another machine delivered where it needs to be. 👌

Another quick overnight run down to Brisbane… and bloody hell, what a night it turned out to be! 😳

We pulled up at Archerfield BP for the night, only to have a runaway B-double come into our prime mover while we were parked up. 💥

Thankfully, everyone involved is OK, which is the main thing. 🙏

Luckily, it looks like we’ve only copped some cosmetic damage to the front of Asylum. The oversize sign didn’t fare quite so well though! 😂

If anyone knows a good place that makes oversize signs, or a decent metal fabricator who could help us repair or replace the sign frame, give us a shout.

One thing’s for sure… you never know what’s going to happen out on the road!

Last week’s run didn’t exactly go to plan… 😅

We headed out from Bundaberg to Mt Isa with a second-hand caravan, only to arrive and discover some pretty significant damage that the customer wasn’t aware of.

The damage looked like it may have been caused by a tyre blowout, and understandably, the customer wasn’t prepared to accept the van and asked for it to be returned to the dealership.
So… back towards the coast we went! 🚛

We teamed up with RV Transport Australia in Townsville, where we cross-loaded the caravan from our drop deck onto one of their trucks to get it safely headed back.

Not every job goes exactly to plan, but we’ll always do what it takes to get the job sorted and the load where it needs to be. 💪

No job's too small or too heavy for the JMS Crew! 💪🚛

This little digger tipped the scales about 1,000 kg over what our tilt tray could legally carry, but that's why we've got the drop deck sitting in the yard.
With a carrying capacity of up to 26 tonnes, we've got the gear to get the tough jobs done safely and without the hassle.

Whether it's machinery, oversized gear or general transport, we'll get it where it needs to be.
