21st March, Goolwa Aquatic Club, first Poker Run - Scavenger Hunt, Precision Docking & Speed Boat Run has been Run & Dusted, the run went from the GAC Clubrooms to the Finnis River, Clayton Bay Jetty, Goolwa Barrage & Return to GAC Clubrooms, First winner on the D & D Mechanical & 4wd sponsored Trophy goes to Darrell Eades & his Merry Team,
Fantastic result with the most all round points & in a Cabin Cruiser, lots of laughs, plenty of Whale Tails were told & a few bevvys sunk on the day....

FASTEST back to the the GAC, Robbie Atkinson closely followed by our Team in Blue,
HARD LUCK story to the clown that lost his wig, & melted onto the extractors
SCAVRNGER HUNT most answers right was Geoff & Lynley in Shooting Star
Fun day had by over 30 people in boats of all descriptions :)

15 March Day Road Dirt Track Ride Day, Chase on point plenty of traffic to practice his Race Craft - getting prepped for Round 1 of the Dirt Track Series, fastest Junior on the day, Summer Speedway has kept his eye right where it needs to be !!!!

SA SIDE CAR CHAMPIONSHIPS 21/02/2026at Gillman Speedway,
Chaseo riding on point & took the race up to the regular front runners ,
winning heat 1, heat 2, Heat 3 was the standout & race for the night for our team with Chase getting an awesome start - getting the holeshot & 1st into turn 1, he ran slightly wide into turn 3 allowing Riley Stout an opportunity to make a pass up the inside, Chase raced hard to run all the way to the finnish in 2nd place, securing him enough points to go straight into the "A" Final,
Chase raced hard to secure 3rd position,
A piece of our equipment we use in the pits has been giving me false reading for quite some time, this has translated to a set up that has not been optimised, we addressed this at this race meeting & found a few extra tenths of a second each lap, now we need to settle into a new groove & let Chase refine his lap times, pb lap times are on a steady improvement each time we race,

Riverland Speedway Race night at Renmark, Kawasakis on point & fast all night,
4 heats on the KX65cc - 2nd,
4 heat races on the KX85cc - 2nd,
4 heat races on the KLX110cc - 1st
The closest racing between the 3 current fastest Dirt Track Juniors in SA, swapping the lead, inside & outside lines, switch backs, a couple of line choices allowed a first place to slip away in the 65cc class, the 85cc was a clear 2nd & the 110cc was super close racing with multiple lead changes, Chase edging out on the last lap to take the win !!!!

What a sensational night of Racing, Chase on the Dirt Track 65cc, 110cc a great night of mixed up handicap cap racing sharing 1st place amongst the 110cc crew, Kolby Schultz grabbing a Podium amongst the boys dicing for a win.
Chase on the Solo had a great night & placed top 2 all night & into the semi finals on a 60 metre handicap, coming home strong in 2nd place ensuring a spot in the final,
The final had Nate Sadler out front, Jett Plaisted off 30 metres, Chase off 60 metres, Ryliegh McGregor off 110 metres, lights went green for racing & all racers had an awesome start, Chase took an inside line on Jett Plaisted & went on the hunt for Nate Sadler, Ryliegh Ryleigh McGregor Racing absolutly flying from the last handicap position came home hard to take 3rd position, Chase hard on the heels of Nate Sadler settled for a close second, top night with the best Junior racers in the country all battling hard for the spots on the Podium.
