Happy Birthday to the man behind the name – Geoff Lovett!

Today we're celebrating Geoff Lovett, the man who started it all and whose name proudly remains at the heart of GLI.

Although Geoff has long since retired from the industry, his contribution to the Gold Coast marine scene and the legacy he built are certainly worth celebrating.

We thought his birthday was the perfect excuse to dig into the archives and share this little piece of Gold Coast boating history. A Channel 7 news story from around 2017, featuring Geoff alongside a few other familiar faces from the local marine industry.
