Sydney Supercar Driver.

A huge thank you to the incredible Sydney community for once again welcoming the Thunderbolt Run family with open arms.

Every time we’re here, we’re reminded why Sydney is such a special part of the journey. We’re excited to confirm that Sydney Supercar Driver is now a monthly Thunderbolt Run event.

Bringing together an amazing community of supercar owners and enthusiasts to share unforgettable experiences and build lifelong friendships.

But we’re only just getting started. Thunderbolt Run is also introducing exclusive two and three-night driving experiences across New South Wales, combining spirited driving and full-throttle moments through breathtaking mountain passes, tight twists and bends- plus luxury stays and decadent dining. And in just three days, we launch our inaugural Full Throttle NSW adventure.

A BIG SHOUT OUT TO VEHICLE TRANSPORT GROUP 🙌

Last night our Thunderbolt Run Porsche and another very special car were loaded up and began their journey to Sydney, safely tucked away in an enclosed transporter.

Vehicle Transport Group have been a valued sponsor and supporter of Thunderbolt Run for several years, and we genuinely appreciate the relationship and the support they continue to give us.

When you’re handing over the keys to cars like these, trust matters. You want to know they’re going to be treated with the same care and respect you’d give them yourself — and that’s why Vehicle Transport Group are the team we trust.

There was also a really nice little moment while we were loading the cars last night.

A mum was passing by with her two kids in a buggy and stopped to tell us how much they loved the purple Porsche and asked if they could have a photo with it.

Of course they could! We got them up beside the car, they gave us the thumbs-up, and judging by those smiles, I think we made their night. 😊

That’s what the car community is all about. It’s not just about the cars — it’s about including people, sharing the experience and sometimes creating a little memory along the way.

Some people run from danger. Others run toward it. Every day, our police officers, firies, paramedics, defence personnel, step into moments most of us hope we never have to face.

They see things that can’t always be unseen. But at the end of the shift, when the uniform comes off and they walk through their front door, those memories don’t always stay behind. Behind every uniform is a person. A partner, a parent, a son or daughter, a mate. At Thunderbolt Run, we’re proud to support Beyond Blue, because looking after the mental health of those who look after us matters.

So today, we just want to say thank you. Thank you for your courage, your service, your sacrifice. And thank you to your families who carry the journey with you.

The older I get, the more I realize that life’s greatest luxury isn’t what we own, it’s who we share our time with.

Some of the most memorable moments haven’t been on the road, but around a dinner table, over a coffee, in conversations that last longer than the meal itself.

It’s a reminder that genuine connection is one of life’s rarest gifts, and something I never take for granted.
