GCCM will once again be represented at the Superyacht Australia Tahiti Rendezvous, reinforcing our long-standing commitment to supporting vessels cruising between the South Pacific and Australia.

SHORTEST DAY. ENDLESS SEASON.

Today's the winter solstice — officially the shortest day of the year. Down south, they're reaching for the heater. Up here? We're reaching for the sunscreen.

This is the Gold Coast's winter. Prime time on the water. Glassy mornings, mild blue-sky days, calm berths and the whole waterway to yourself — no summer crowds in sight.

So while the rest of the country hibernates, we'll be out making the most of it.

Less daylight just means every hour on the water counts a little more.

Back in Service: Spirit of Mulgumpin

Today we farewell Spirit of Mulgumpin as she departs d’Albora GCCM following a fast, efficient refit delivered by our expert onsite marine trades.

It’s always rewarding to see this GCCM-built vessel return to the yard where it was originally brought to life—and to see our come together once again to ensure she’s performing at her very best.

With a streamlined turnaround across multiple trades, the focus was on efficiency without compromising quality—keeping her on schedule and ready to get straight back to work. She’s already booked for a whale cruise this Saturday and is now heading over to our friends at Marina Mirage.
From build to ongoing maintenance, Spirit of Mulgumpin is a strong example of what can be achieved when skilled marine professionals collaborate in one place, with precision, care, and reliability.
We look forward to seeing her back on the water doing what she does best.

We’re thrilled to welcome back this beautiful 86ft Moonen and her fantastic owners to d’Albora Gold Coast City Marina for an extended 6-month refit. Even more exciting — she’ll be refitting alongside another 86ft Moonen, bringing two iconic Dutch builds together in one place.

There’s something truly special about these timeless vessels, and we’re looking forward to seeing this next chapter come to life. Interesting transformations ahead — stay tuned. ✨
