As a proud sponsor of Ruby in ILCA 4 sailing, we've loved watching her growth over the years into the incredible sailor she is becoming, and 2026 has been another massive year. Ruby kicked off 2026 by being crowned Australian ILCA 4 Women's National Champion at the ILCA Oceania & Australian Championship in Hobart, qualifying her to represent Australia in the 2026 ILCA 4 Youth World Championships in Aarhus, Denmark, where she finished an outstanding 15th overall, yes that right, 15th in the world in her class and was the top Australian in a fleet of 150 sailors from around the world.

Watching her grow into the sailor she is today has been an absolute privilege. Her dedication, skill, and competitive spirit on the water inspire all of us here at Stella.

It was a pleasure hosting Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price, Shadow Minister for Small Business and Shadow Minister for Skills and Training, Cameron Caldwell MP, Federal Member for Fadden, and representatives from the Boating Industry Association (BIA) on the workshop floor yesterday.

Stella Founder and CEO Gary led a walk-through of our facilities to discuss the vital role of local manufacturing, apprenticeships, and skilled marine trades.

Visits like this are a great opportunity to showcase the day-to-day expertise that goes into our marine equipment right here at The Boat Works Gold Coast, and our contribution to powering Coomera’s marine precinct and Australia’s wider marine industry.
