I must thank our staff, Margaret, Jessica and our tireless team for their help as we move a workshop that has been in place for the last 33 years. It’s been confirmed and it’s official I’m a hoarder. We are progressing well with our move to new premises. I have had a wow moment on the amount of “stuff” I have saved for a needed occasion that’s never been needed. Signs are up and looking good.
Thanks also must go to the numerous people that have called, given support, well wishes and offered to help. We look forward to the new premises and working with you all.

After 30 years at the same location. We are excited to take Diesel Services Queensland to this new facility with more room and drive through bays. We will keep you informed as we move trying to ensure minimal disruption to you our valued customer. Please give us a call to discuss your servicing and repair needs.

Been a hard week reminiscing about the good people we have met over these years at 10 Sinclair street and the memories we have made.

We are looking for a qualified heavy commercial vehicle mechanic to join our tight knit team.

We are a northern Gold Coast truck repair workshop who prides our self on continual quality work in our fast paced well equiped workshop. We carry out repairs, modifications and servicing on a wide variety of on and off highway equipment, electrical repairs, hydraulics, diagnostics and some fabrication.

Position Overview:
As a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic at Diesel Services Queensland, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our customers fleet. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy vehicles to the highest standards. We will also consider experienced Light Vehicle Mechanics who are looking to transition into the heavy vehicle industry and are willing to learn and grow with us or 2nd to 4th year apprentices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles, including engines, transmissions, and brake systems.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and address them promptly.
• Replace or repair faulty components and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve optimal results and share best practices.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy vehicle systems.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and hand tools effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Certificate III in Engineering-Mechanical trade or similar trade.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• A valid driver’s license is required; a heavy vehicle license and forklift license is a plus.

Sorry for the late reply but we are back at it, the storm didn’t affect us directly. Due to safety of our staff and customers alike we stayed closed Thursday, frisday and Monday. Thank you for everyone’s understanding

DIESEL SERVICES QUEENSLAND will be closed for Monday the 10th.

The workshop is above water, however staff are experiencing flooding around there homes and travel will be difficult/unsafe. We are ok at present and our homes are under no direct threat, however in the interests of safety we have decided to not to reopen as yet.

We appreciate your understanding. Hopefully we are ready to return on Tuesday, however we will monitor it closely and update tomorrow, sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Due to the impending cyclone we have decided to close Thursday and Friday as a precaution and to let our staff concentrate on ensuring their homes are secure. Hopefully all come through this unscathed with minimal damage.
