Full Time Mechanic - Monday-Friday
Southport Car Repairs is a Gold Coast family owned and run business since 1972. For over 48 years we have been providing full car servicing for a wide variety of makes and models. Our workshop is located in the heart of Southport, where we provide our well-established customers with a one stop shop for all their quality servicing, repairs and parts needs.
About the Role:
The role is a Full-Time position, these days will be worked between Monday- Friday.
Roles included ( but not limited too):
Testing, diagnosing and reporting on vehicles
Servicing and repairs on light / commercial new and used vehicles
General and complex automotive mechanical repairs
RWC inspections
Pre Purchase vehicle inspections
Aiding other team members and management as required
About You:
You will be a skilled and qualified mechanic with a minimum of 5 years automotive experience, who can fit well within our existing team with a great attitude. You will be very competent in all aspects of the job from servicing, to diagnosing and other various areas.
Qualified automotive mechanic
Non-restricted driver’s licence
Minimum 5 years experience as a fully qualified automotive mechanic
Must have own tools
Australian Citizen (unrestricted to work in Australia)
Takes pride and care in the quality of work; attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment and individually without supervision
Great communication skills (verbal and written)
Punctual
Able to take and follow instruction
