At Marine Affair part of our annual service is not only just servicing the engine but also removing and checking your out drive (stern leg).
This customer said he has noticed his temp been abnormally higher for the past month or 2.
Upon inspection we found the dreaded oyster shell blocking off the main water intake.
Good find and very common issue.
It always pays to have your engines and drives serviced annually so you can hopefully have a trouble free season.

Yep might be a chill in the air but we have to do what we have to do.
Customer said he has a small leak , so let’s find that and rectify the issue.
Now time for a quick water test.
