So each day brings more smiles now, Julie Von Bibra Higgins and I saw my doctor this morning, he asked me how i went with the cardiologist and echo, gave him the echo report and said not real good you need to check what's happened with my EF, he started reading and the biggest smile come across his face, and he said what are you doing... you are going to put me out of a job😅, that is amazing then explained how the left side muscles that are partially paralysed are somehow compensating for the dead part 🤔, ok the shock of that was over, now onto my blood test for all levels, reading them all out individually they are all good, sugars are getting better than before but within acceptable levels, only thing and we couldn't go perfect vitamin D is down a bit, ok thats an easy fix.
Now onto the big one... my licence ummm he needs a letter from the cardiologist before filling out the form, and he is away for a couple weeks, bummer and it will be restricted 🥲 .... oh and julie doesn't want to give up driving the motorhome so she was smiling 😀 😄.
So now to keep kicking arse and hanging around... bucket list can get bigger now.... happy hump day people 🍻

The human body is an amazing thing when you let it do its thing, Julie Von Bibra Higgins and I had the good news last week about the heart function improvement, today we had the podiatrist, 6 weeks ago when we saw her, i had no felling in my feet and couldn't feel vibration because of the neuropathy I suffered from echmo, So today we saw her again and low and behold with the increased blood flow, when we did the touch and vibration test again I could feel them in most of the spots, some a bit less than others.... but I could feel it.
So with the EF improvement, some of the other building blocks of the body are starting to show some signs of improvement... still a bloody long way to go , but I will take any improvements that come my way now, as it is encouraging to keep on going, and as i said to the OT today I will try anything now to try and improve my qaulity of life 🙂👍

So with yesterday's news, Julie Von Bibra Higgins and I have decided that the universe sent me a message 2 and a half years ago, retire, because before I was prepared to keep working for as long as I could, but I got to try out for fertiliser before they replanted me back on this planet earth😂, so with being given the go ahead to live life a bit better, than i was, and not needing to stay close to hospitals now, my time at working is well and truly done, its time to do what they said when they brought me back... its time to smell the roses and enjoy life, so i am happy with that and we can venture further than we could plan to, I am happy to pass the business on to Greg Wentworth at All Class and just be a mentor and overseeing it with him.
With all the otherside effect and the fact the heart is still partially dead hanging over me I will still struggle with stuff and my breathing, but at least we can work with that.... so we are kicking back and making plans as our bucket list has improved 👌 😉 so bring on life as i have plans to p**s a lot more people off 😂... and hofully out last a few.😜
Cheers and thanks to everyone that has followed the business and journey we have been on.
Will keep updates on here as to what we are doing in the future
Thanks Julie Von Bibra Higgins and Dave

Update Echocardiograph last tue cardiologist today and......
Hell what the f #*k
Julie Von Bibra Higgins and I have just got home from the hospital and visit with the cardiologist.
The magic number 45% EF,
No bloody way, how without doing any exercise, etc 😅, so i go from pushing up daisies, to 40% after ICU, down to 34% in 3 mth, another drop to 24% and told to prepare for the worst, to 6 mths later 45% 🙂😁👍✊️, he told me with the damage to my heart im still not out of the woods, and could suddenly drop dead at anytime, but as he said so could he. So I have permission to enjoy myself and do what I want within reason and what my body will let me, keeping in mind the heart is weak.... and he has given me permission to drive again if I want to get my licence back and he will support it 😛
What a week this has been, and it just shows with determination and willpower the body can over come what ever problems you have.... now to work on all the other side effects from echmo, etc, that the doc agrees that they will always be a problem.... happy happy chappy and jewels is over the moon.... WOW still in shock with the news

How good is it when we have been closed for over 2 years now, and still getting feedback from work we did, the tank and sidecover would have been one of the last ones we did for Peter before my heart attack, long time followers of the page would remember the blue flake going everywhere, 😂 including on me, im blessed to have finely seen the finished product, time to go see it in person I think 🤔

Last weeks challenge for Greg Wentworth at All Class Bodyworks was to redo some trim that had been done by an expert, ordinary repairs and polished out of shape, bit of a worry because we didn't know how thin they were now, but with some guidance and gentle manipulation and a repolish, they are looking like they should again.
Remember guys and gals need some stainless trim repairs contact Greg and have a talk to see if he can help you out.
