Bogged Monday, bogged in the other truck tuesday. But its hasnt been all sitting around and waiting to get rescued. We've still been moving around random stuff and the usual. Like cars, tractors and forklifts around the place.

Had the most random 8 days. We've moved a limo, little plane, lathes, tractors, cars, 4 crashed cars, 1 repo, forklifts, farm equipment, spray plants, buses, backhoe, scissor lifts and knuckle booms. So much for july being our quietest month if the year

Today, Riverland Towing is closed as we gather with family and friends to farewell our uncle, John.

John was the former owner of Riverland Towing, and four years ago we were honoured to continue the business he built. His hard work, dedication and commitment to the community created the foundation we are proud to carry on today.

As we pay tribute to John and celebrate his life, we thank our customers and the Riverland community for your understanding during this time.

We will reopen and return to business tomorrow.

Rest peacefully, John. Your legacy will continue to drive Riverland Towing for many years to come.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Peter’s uncle, John.

John will always hold a special place in the history of Riverland Towing. Four years ago, he entrusted our family with the business he had built, giving us the opportunity to continue what he started and make Riverland Towing our own.

We will always be grateful for the opportunity John gave our family and for the part he played in the Riverland Towing story. His legacy will forever remain a part of this business.

John was also a proud part of the Variety Bash, giving his time and support to a cause that brought so much joy and made a difference to so many children and families.

Passed away peacefully at the Barmera Hospital on Wednesday 8th July, 2026.
Aged 75 years
Loved and loving husband of Mary (deceased)
Loved dad of Craig, David, and Helen
Beloved Grandpa of Bella and Lilly

A private family funeral will be held, followed by a public celebration of his life at the Barmera Football Club on Friday 24th July, 2026, at 3.00pm, for all who knew and loved him.

Now reunited with Mary
Resting in Peace.
