The Cowwarr Hotel is officially REOPENED! Just a wee drive down the road, it’s the ideal spot for a cold drink, a top-notch bistro meal, or a sunny afternoon in the b**r garden. 🍺☀️

Or head into Cowwarr on the way up - for a short rest break.

The 2026 MDC Muster is officially heading BACK to Montana on the Macalister! Following the massive success of the inaugural gathering, the Market Direct Campers (MDC) crew is returning to Glenmaggie from Thursday 5th – Sunday 8th November 2026.
If you’re an MDC owner, this is the one long weekend you absolutely cannot miss!
The MDC Muster is all about mateship, adventure, and celebrating the legendary MDC family. It is your chance to gather with other like-minded adventurers, show off your rig, and enjoy an unforgettable 4-day itinerary right on the riverbank.

How incredible is nature? (Throwback to 2019)

Back in 2019, Gippsland was in deep drought, and Lake Glenmaggie dropped to nearly its lowest level on record.

While the need for rain was desperate, it revealed a hidden world usually submerged beneath the water—ancient tree stumps, intricate mud patterns, and old timber bridges that had been hidden.

It’s a powerful reminder of nature’s raw beauty and resilience—and it makes us appreciate the lake we enjoy today!
