The big WA #4 donk has been refreshed and ready to plug into its new home! Hopefully not to long and we can have another skid, the ash page memorial is a focus but that definitely depends on when the little man arrives.

Focus turns to powering up the Barndon #35 rig with our brand new custom cam grind ✅

🔥LEXCEN STANDS ON BUSINESS🔥

Last night was the 26th edition of the Production Sedan Sizzle at Geraldton City Speedway.

It was a tough day getting the car to the track with limited time for us between meetings and damage accumulating on the #57 GMM Engines powered GR Lexcen.

Dad and Rohan eventually made it to the track with an untested steering rack and some other componentry.

Rohan had a cautious but decent run through the heat races and kept the nose intact to qualify 5th for the Pole Shuffle.
He would end up moving forward Two spots and would start from P3 in the Final.

The Opening lap would be a wild affair with the leaders spinning in turn 1 with Rohan Luckily avoiding the pileup sustaining only minor damage.
This meant the Lexcen would now be restarting from P1.

For next 20 or so laps between restarts, he would swap between P1,P2,P3 with several cars gaining advances due to the choose cone rule spicing up the restart orders.

At the final restart Rohan would take the lead and run away with it eventually winning by quite a margin.

This marks the biggest win for Rohan and finally puts a stamp of approval on all of the hard work and headache we’ve dealt with over the last season with the car.

Took the Sprintcar for some more laps a couple weeks ago! Had a blast and started to get the pace up 👍🏻

We have moved on our enclosed trailer and welcomed home a new one as I’m in the process of down sizing and minimising from the sport

Next year at some stage we won’t be doing engines anymore as life is to stressful with FIFO, raising/ spending time with the family, renovating our house and trying to build engines plus manage my own projects. I will finish off the engines I have started, and potentially do some that ive promised ppl but I just don’t want the stress as I’m struggling to find the time!
