In cold and windy conditions, this client is ticking off milestones and bucket lists!! Starting from never even riding a bicycle in her life, and wanting to learn to ride a bike to enjoy retirement with her partner out on the road riding her own bike, she is now rolling with feet up after a couple lessons and tons of practice! It's been a huge learning curve of balance, control, and confidence, but she is hitting it out of the Park! So proud and can't wait until that first road ride together.

Day 2 of the trek home! With the weather forecasting temps below 10 degrees with snow down to 800m we were unsure of how today would be. When in the early hours of the morning saw us listening to sleet/hail and downpours of rain, we even thought it might be a hunker and wait a day.

Looking out as the day broke sipping on a hot tea, watching the hail/sleet bounce off Beasties tank 🤦‍♀️ there was a blue sky break over the ocean. So deciding to try and skirt the blue sky spots and quickly gear up and catch the 12 Apostles in a break.

As we headed out it was sun and looking promising...... then as we peaked over a crest there was the nasty snowy looking clouds dumping a load of rain looming over the horizon. We pulled up at the 12 Apostles and scurried out to the look out, chased by spots of rain.

It was wild and windy but really suited the scene of where the Apostles truly live and daily conditions the rocks would face. Back on the bikes and off to London Bridge which was rudely shut 🤔

So heads down and off to Ballarat for our next stop. In and out of 5 to 8 degree rainy weather until Camperdon where a lovely little bakery beckoned. Just as we sat down to a huge pie and coffee the hail rained down outside, phew missed that.

Back on the bikes and we chased the storm along.... and bloody caught it 🤦‍♀️ freezing, wet, 8 degrees we broke out of it to see sun ahead, with nasty clouds behind and either side of us....

Seemed every turn was either straight towards the storm or towards the sun making for a rollercoaster of "yaahhh..... nooooo..... yahhhhh... ffs"

Pulled up at our CASTLE accommodation for the night and can see the nasty part swooping in behind us. Time for a hot spa and hot chocolate!!!

Day 4! Up to a bright sunny morning and first was to navigate the 100km of biker heaven called the Omeo Highway 😍😍 what an amazing road and have i mentioned the scenery yet 🤔🫣

Beastie gave me couple slide outs and ally oops and rattled me to slow up but it was very enjoyable regardless. There will be some great camera footage to go through once home to up load!!

Once at Omeo for a home made pie it was realised the time itd take to get to the island and the camping and accreditation office shut at 5pm sharp. Skates on!!

Got there at 5.10pm and the awesome lady served me my papers even though i was late and we rode up to our camp. Holy crap the view 🥰😍

Off to the shops for food now then rest. Tomorrow is our orientation!
