It was a privilege to support the Royal Flying Doctor Service through the Lowes Petroleum Charity Golf Day in Goondiwindi.

The RFDS provides an essential lifeline to regional and remote communities across Australia, delivering critical healthcare and emergency services when they are needed most.

Congratulations to the team at Lowes Petroleum and everyone involved in organising such a successful event. Waterson Group was proud to play a small part in supporting this important cause.

Axle measurements matter.

An axle may appear serviceable during a visual inspection, but accurate measurement of the bearing surfaces can identify wear that might otherwise go unnoticed. If these surfaces are undersized or outside the manufacturer’s specifications, the bearings may not seat correctly, potentially leading to movement, accelerated wear and premature failure.

When an axle is found to be outside specification, replacement of the axle assembly may be the safest and most reliable repair. Our team can carefully remove the existing axle group, transfer the required hardware and components, and install the correct replacement assemblies.

Axle inspections and replacements, along with our full range of heavy vehicle and trailer repair services, are available through our Brisbane, Gladstone, Mackay and Townsville locations.
