It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Dida, Peter Jakovich, who passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family on the 21st October 2025.

Dida could be found from time to time around the workshop helping out, picking up parts from our local suppliers or having a chat with our customers.
He will be dearly missed by all.

The funeral is scheduled for 12pm on the 7th November at the Geraldton Crematorium.

TAJ Mechanical is seeking an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our small close-knit team.
This is a full time position, 50 hours per week with alternating Saturday mornings. This is a family friendly position boasting a work/life balance.

𝘋𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘭𝘶𝘥𝘦, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰,
• Support to our Workshop team,
• Stock control and procurement of parts for workshop jobs ahead of job schedules,
• Support to our Field Service team, procuring parts and arranging freight to customer sites/locations throughout the state,

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
This position is for a qualified Boilermaker / Body Builder to join our workshop team based in Geraldton, supporting our local clientele and field service based operations. This position will also require someone with a sound knowledge of aluminium fabrication using Fronius welders.
The scope of work will include, but not limited to, Mining, Civil and Road Transport.
