Workshop Controller
Full time
MFM-Mobile Fleet Maintenance is seeking a proficient and experienced Workshop Controller to direct our dynamic business.
As the successful applicant, you will report directly to the Managing Director and work closely with other team members to manage and control different aspects of our business. These are, light and heavy vehicle servicing and repairs, hydraulic hose & fittings and air conditioning.
You will manage the day to day operation of the workshop in scheduling and forward planning of workshop and field service jobs and manage activities to ensure safe and efficient flow of work; limit costs and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
Your duties will include:
Scheduling, coordinating and assigning duties/jobs
Customer and Supplier relationship development
Sourcing and tracking parts/equipment for all jobs
Monitor services and repair progress across the team to ensure jobs are completed in a timely manner and to the highest standard
Mentor Apprentices
Help identify additional work and liaise with Director
Motivating and training workshop staff while maintaining targets and deadlines
Liaise with Administration Team
Ensuring company vehicles, machinery & equipment are well maintained
The successful candidate will require:
Full Trade Qualification
Excellent communication skills
High standard customer service
Experience in mechanical servicing, repairs & diagnostic skills
Current Australian Drivers Licence
Be available to work Monday-Friday 7am - 4pm, potentially a 4 day week after probationary period.
