Geelong Club Day delivered some awesome results, and it was great to finally get down there and watch our team in action

Huge shoutout to everyone for the strong racing, new PBs, and bringing home some trophies

HK drivers have been busy throughout March competing at events all over the place, with some great results and strong performances.

Round 1 – Golden Power Series
Jett Gobourne (Cadet 9) took the win, while Jarvis Hindle (Cadet 12) crossed the line in 2nd place. Unfortunately, Jarvis later received a penalty for a starting infringement.

Australian Kart Championship (AKC)
Jarvis Hindle showed strong pace in Cadet 12 with a few 2nd place finishes in the heats. Unfortunately, contact from behind in the final sent him sideways into the kart in front, ending what was shaping up to be a great result.

Club Day
Plenty of personal bests were achieved, with trophies brought home and great progress shown across the team.

Victorian Country Series – Cobden

Club Day Weekend Recap! 🚥🏎️

Our drivers had a big weekend across Victoria and Tasmania! Most of the Victorian crew headed to Puckapunyal, with an impressive 300 plus entries — huge credit to the club Eastern Lions Kart Club for running such a smooth event.
Some of our team also made the trip to Todd Rd.

Over in Tasmania, the track was run backwards for the first time in a long time, making for a super fun and challenging weekend!

It was a weekend of podium finishes, personal bests, and lots of fun. As a team, we learned a lot, pushed our limits, and enjoyed every lap together! 💪🏁

Big weekend for our drivers, travelling all over the place to race club day events!
We had drivers competing in Ipswich, Ballarat and Tasmania.
The Ipswich crew had a great weekend of testing at one of the tracks for the Australian Kart Championship - valuable laps and plenty of data heading into Nationals .

The Ballarat crew came away with some strong results:
• James Henman - 1st place Cadet 9
Cadet12
• Ben Henman - 2nd place after multiple heat wins
• Zac Duynhoven - 3rd place

Over in Tasmania, Ethan Youd took out
• 1st place in his very first race of the season — what a start!

Super proud of everyone's efforts across all states. Well done, team HK

Over the last few weekends, a few of the HK drivers have kicked off their 2026 season.

🏁 Jarvis Hindle brought home a strong 3rd place on Friday night at Junior Top Guns, finishing 5th overall after some great racing.

🏁 Mia Mifsud followed it up with an awesome 2nd place at the Pink Plate event in Albury, showing great pace with a few very quick laps — and also taking home a Sportsmanship Award.

🏁 Mila Cox also walked away with the Sportsmanship Award — way to go Mila!

A fantastic start to the year — proud of the effort from all our drivers and looking forward to what’s ahead!

Victorian State Cup – South West Kart Club
What a weekend! From sunshine on Friday, to rain and mud on Saturday, then back to sunny skies on Sunday — the weather really put on a show for the State Cup.

Cadet 9
Our youngest racers put on some brilliant battles, with local young gun Zac Duynhoven bringing home the black plate. Congratulations Zac — an awesome effort on home soil!

Cadet 12
Qualifying was chaos, with our drivers heading out on wets just as the track dried — definitely not ideal for us. But by the final, the team pushed forward strongly.
Jarvis Hindle drove an incredible race, crossing the line in 2nd after starting 6th but dropping back to 11th. A drop-down penalty from avoiding a crash at the start moved him back, but the drive itself was nothing short of outstanding.

KA3 Junior Light
Austin McPherson was in the fight at the front all weekend. He started the final from 2nd and finished 2nd on track, before receiving a penalty for passing under yellow. Still a strong performance from Austin across the entire event.

A massive well done to all of our drivers — tough conditions, great battles, and plenty to be proud of!

HK drivers headed to two different state championships over the weekend — one in SA and the other in Geelong — and they did us proud across both events.

SA State Championships
Our drivers showed strong pace all weekend, with our Cadet 9 group putting on some great battles.
• Zac Ismaili came home in 2nd place with some seriously quick lap times.
• James, Jett and Mila all delivered impressive results, especially considering it was their first time at the track.

In Cadet 12, Jarvis Hindle was fast right from the start and well in the fight, but unfortunately was taken out on the final lap of the final while battling up front.
Ben Henman did a great job also not having been to the track before

Geelong State Championships

Down in Geelong, our HK drivers were strong.

• KA3 Senior Light: Ryder Dahler brought home the blue plate, with Mia Mifsud finishing in 3rd.
• KA3 Junior Light: Austin McPherson claimed the blue plate, with Xavier Mifsud also securing 3rd.

What an awesome weekend of results for our HK team across two states!

🏆 A very big congratulations to our Golden Power Series Champions! 🏆

An incredible achievement for the team — this marks Jarvis Hindle’s third consecutive year winning the championship and HK’s second year in a row taking out Cadet 12 and third year in cadet 9.

Way to go team — what an amazing effort from everyone involved!

Also We came away with some strong results over the weekend at the final round of the golden power series with podium finishes, fastest laps, and plenty of personal bests!
