Remembering the man himself Steve Irwin.

Today marks the 20th Anniversary of Steve’s tragic death, and below pictures are a tribute to Steve and the entire Irwin family that have entrusted us to rescue/restore some of Steve’s prized possessions.

We were so honoured to have the opportunity to restore these items, and I can tell you we all had goose bumps at some stages along the build.

Another rare JDM glowing after receiving our Protection Package 💎

After the owner had a go at polishing the single stage paint, he sought out a professional opinion on what could be done to extend the paint life until a full respray was on the books. Although cared for very well, it was half original paint (which was extremely thin in places) and the other half had been resprayed at different times, and had quite significant marring over the majority of panels.

Both ourselves and the customer are super happy with the end result, rejuvenated and protected for years to come 👌

We performed the following package:

✅ Decontamination Prep Wash
✅ Front bar wet sanded to remove heavy peel
✅ 2 Stage Paint Correction
✅ Stone chips filled & flattened
✅ Alcohol Prep wipe down
✅ Vacuum and detail of interior
✅ Always Dry Australia 9H LDC EXTREME on all exterior paint
✅ Wheels coated in Always Dry Pro to ensure easy cleaning of brake dust & superior chemical protection
✅ Vision Pro ceramic coating applied to the windscreen for superior clarity in wet weather

“90 Nissan R32 GTR Skyline 🇯🇵

The R32 GTR… where many people’s love & respect for JDM cars first started 😍 2.6L inline 6, this one with a big single turbo upgrade, AWD and a light weight body & chassis to allow those epic launches & pulls. Although still on its run in tune with a freshly built motor, the goal is a ‘comfortable’ 700ish HP and already sounds like an absolute BEAST 💪

Another amazing paint job done by Jared Needham it’s been resprayed in Nissans notorious Midnight Purple II, an amazing colour shift paintcode that changes from black - purple - blue - copper depending where the light hits it 💎

We were approached to finesse the paintwork and protect it at a high level, before its receives the final touches from Carman’s Interiors for a complete custom overhaul inside, and its final tune after run in. New rims and tyres are already on order… cannot wait to see how the new Custom interior & Nismo Rims look on this 😮‍💨😍

The package included:

✅ Decontamination Prep Wash & clay bar treatment
✅ 2 Stage Paint correction to enhance the gloss & clarity
✅ Alcohol Prep wipe down
✅ Engine bay detail

The following products were then applied:
