With the weather still hitting hard and the possibility of more flooding, we here at Carsburg’s would just like to remind everyone to drive safe and be vigilant with all the roads flooded and more to possibly come.

Remember if it’s flooded, forget it!

MONDAY 10 MARCH, 4.30AM

Almost 60 roads across the region are closed or impacted due to heavy rain from Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid unnecessary travel. If you must drive, check road conditions on Council’s Disaster Dashboard before starting your journey https://disaster.lvrc.qld.gov.au/

While we are not out of the woods yet - with heavy rain still forecast today - wet conditions are expected to ease from tomorrow, though floodwaters may take some time to recede.

The community should not become complacent. And remember, never swim, play, drive or enter floodwaters.

If it’s flooded, forget it.

Unfortunately due to the current weather forecast Ray’s service has been postponed. The new date will be Friday 14th March at 1pm at Gatton Cemetery.
