NOT YOUR AVERAGE TYRE JOB…

This Ford was towed into us after being involved in an accident, and the photos give you an idea of the damage it sustained.

Both tyres took an absolute beating, with one completely torn apart and the other heavily damaged.

It’s not every day you see tyres arrive at the workshop looking like this!

Once the vehicle arrived, we were able to assess the wheel and tyre damage and work out what was needed to get it sorted.

Whether it’s your everyday tyre replacement or something a little more unexpected, we’ve got you covered.

THIS ONE WAS WELL OVERDUE!

A Kia Sportage came into the workshop and we found the front lower control arm bushes completely destroyed.

As you can see from the photos, the rubber bush had torn apart and separated — allowing far more movement in the control arm than there should be.

Worn control arm bushes can cause knocking noises, poor handling, uneven tyre wear and vague or unstable steering.

We replaced both front lower control arms and got everything back where it should be.

If your car is knocking, wandering on the road or just doesn’t feel quite right, don’t ignore it — get it checked before a small problem becomes a bigger one.

FROM STANDARD TO SERIOUSLY TOUGH

This Ford Ranger came to us completely standard… and left looking like a totally different ute.

We gave it the full treatment:

✅ Falken Wildpeak AT4W 275/65R18 tyres
✅ CSA Horizon wheels
✅ 3-inch lift
✅ ARB Summit bull bar
✅ ARB rear bar
✅ Under-vehicle armour

The result speaks for itself — tougher stance, more clearance, extra protection underneath and ready to get off the beaten track.

And yep… we can organise the whole package. Wheels, tyres, suspension, bull bars, protection and accessories — all supplied and fitted in one place.

Thinking about giving your 4WD a makeover? Come in and have a chat with us.

WHEN OTHERS CAN’T FIND IT… WE WILL.

This BMW X7 came to us with a frustrating vibration that had already been looked at by multiple workshops — including a BMW dealership.

The owner had even been advised to replace suspension components, only to find the vibration was still there.

When it arrived at our workshop, we started from scratch and focused on diagnosing the actual cause rather than replacing more parts.

The culprit? 👉 The front AND rear brakes.

After replacing the brakes front and rear, the vibration was gone.

It’s a perfect example of why proper diagnosis matters. Throwing parts at a problem can get expensive very quickly — especially when those parts weren’t causing the issue in the first place.

At Bridgestone Service Centre Fyshwick, we’re about much more than just tyres. From brakes and suspension to servicing, mechanical repairs and those frustrating problems nobody else seems to be able to solve — we’ve got you covered.

You might see the big Bridgestone name out the front… but behind it, we’re still just a small local family business. ❤️

Even our littlest team members get put to work! 😂

The girls were out helping us deliver flyers around Canberra, doing their bit for the family business.

When you support Bridgestone Service Centre Fyshwick, you’re not just supporting a big brand — you’re supporting a local family, our staff and a small business working hard to build something for the future.

We really appreciate every booking, every recommendation and everyone who chooses to support us. ❤️

🛑 Don’t wait until your brakes are metal on metal!

This Volkswagen Golf came into the workshop with worn rear brake pads, and it was the perfect time to replace them before they caused damage to the brake rotors.

A simple brake inspection today can save you from a much more expensive repair tomorrow.

If you’ve noticed:
🚗 Squeaking or grinding brakes
🚗 Reduced braking performance
🚗 A warning light on the dash

Don’t ignore it—have them checked by our experienced team.
