💨 Your engine needs air to run — but it needs clean air.

Your car’s air filters helps prevent dirt, dust and other contaminants from entering the engine’s air intake.

Over time, the filter can become dirty or restricted, making it harder for the engine to get the air it needs.

A dirty or restricted air filter can sometimes contribute to:

✅ Reduced engine performance
✅ Increased fuel consumption
✅ Poor acceleration
✅ Engine running less efficiently

That’s why your air filter is checked as part of regular vehicle maintenance.

If you can't remember the last time your air filter was checked, it might be worth having it checked. There is also a cabin air filter, which also needs to be checked to ensure that you breathe clean air inside the car.
