Getting ready for summer fishing! 🎣
After sitting for over 2 years had flip bring me his Boat for new exhaust manifolds and risers
Had to modify the new exhaust so it would all work
And Make new water lines up for the raw water and coolant hoses
Then had to rebuild the raw water pump as there was nothing left of the impeller
also had to replace the engine water pump
Got new plugs and a engine flush and coolant
New yellow top starter battery. Swappped out the old Bilge pump for a new one with a built in float switch
Got some help for this one from the brother and old boy. The leg also got some love. new pump impeller and housing and lower plate. Then found the gear shift shaft spacer was broken in half. The upper shaft was seized. So couldn’t get it in any gear
We managed to get it all freed up and working.

New wiper blades new washer motor as it was leaking. Removed the bonnet skin as it was falling apart. And a new windscreen. Fitted some working speakers as they factory ones had died

Well had travs car come back for a very low oil pressure issue after fitting a new oil pressure sensor
Found some flakes of metal on the dip stick
So decided to do cam and lifters. Then found the oil pick up tube was 90% blocked from the factory timing chain tensioner that had broken. Removed it to clean it all out
Found cam bearings badly worn. replaced them.
Parts that went in
Vcm5sc cam. Ls7 lifters new buckets. Hardened push rods double valve springs with new seals and locks
New head gaskets and bolts
Crow single row chain new timing chain tensioner
3x arp cam bolts
New mellings oil pump and o ring
Also did rear main plate sump gasket and timing cover gasket and front main seal
And new engine mounts
Car came really good making 240rwkw
Keeping in mind it’s 100% stock exhaust system
Sounds good and drives great

List of parts that went in
Crow cam 227-244-114lsa
Upgraded double valve springs
Single timing chain
Hardened push rods
New oil pump
Gm Ls7 lifter
Gm lifter buckets
Head gaskets and head bolts
upgraded timing chain tensioner
Came up Awesome. made 244.7rwkw on 35s!
Also fitted a new alternator and new clutch booster as it had failed
