VR Clubsport 383 4L60e auto running on a Haltech Nexus plug in. Haltech doesn’t officially support the VR/VS auto for the plug in but with some magic we made it work. This car features a full COME Racing 383, twin throttle intake, dry deck, built 4L60e. As a former Street Machine feature car it deserves to be brought into the 21st century and actually be driven and appreciated.

Don’t drive the balancer on with the bolt.
Make sure you use the right cam gear.
We’ve now replaced almost every cam kit part this car arrived with. Cheap lifters replaced with genuine LS7 and new buckets. The wrong springs replaced with a Crow dual spring kit. Incorrect sized pushrods for the cams base circle (which was wrong anyway) replaced with a Crow 1287 and pushrods will be measured to suit. Cheap chain replaced with Rollermaster chain. The wrong cam gear replaced with genuine LS7 gear. The wrong bolts everywhere replaced with the right ones. Surprisingly it had a genuine Mellings oil pump. As for the crankshaft threads, we repaired them as best we could, and we’ll replace the crank if and when we have to. This car should now do what it was intended to do.
