To our Behind the Wheel community: Enjoy the long weekend... but be aware that double demerits run from 12:01 am Friday, June 5 to 11:59 pm Monday, June 8.

If you are in NSW and the ACT, double demerits are applied for

* Exceeding the speed limit.
* Illegal use of a mobile phone while driving.
* Not wearing a seatbelt or incorrectly carrying passengers not wearing restraints.
* Riding without an approved helmet on a motorcycle
