💥F10 M5 — DOUBLE X-PIPE EXHAUST💥

The BMW F10 M5 is already a serious machine — powered by BMW’s 4.4L twin-turbo S63 V8 — but we wanted to give this one a sound that matches the performance. 🔥

This build features a fully custom exhaust system, with the 3” Double X-Pipe being the star of the show, paired with valved rear mufflers for the perfect balance between aggression and control.

The goal was simple: bring out a higher-pitched, more exotic character from the S63 V8 rather than the typical deep, raspy F10 M5 sound.

The Double X-Pipe completely changes the character of the exhaust note — giving this M5 a sharper, more exotic tone while still retaining that unmistakable S63 V8 rumble.

And as far as we know, this is the first F10 M5 we’ve seen running a setup like this. 👀

DOUBLE X-PIPE ON THE S63 💥

What does a double X-pipe actually do?

On the BMW M5’s S63 V8, the exhaust gases from each bank are normally separated. The X-pipe creates crossover points between the two banks, allowing exhaust pulses to merge, equalise pressure and flow more efficiently through the system.

With a double X-pipe, you’re adding an additional crossover to further manipulate the exhaust pulses and flow — helping create a smoother, more aggressive exhaust note while improving the overall character of the S63 at higher RPM.

And honestly… this thing sounds absolutely insane under load. 😮‍💨🔥
