It's too nice, and stupid fast. So we are probably going to fix it and make it Tanika's car🫣
This thing will eat a new porsche 911 Carrera.

Probs a bit much for a 50 year old chassis 😅

Fab Time! Well, it actually was fun too 😅 Michael Walker and myself burning the midnight candle last night to get THE THINGs new motor half mounted. There was lots of ADHD hilarity and many side quests, however the end result was simple and effective. This tacked up sub frame manages to pick up the rear bumper mounts and the old engine mounts. It will also be a great base for the rear battery box 🔋

An update on THE THING. I was worried that I had picked the wrong car for my first EV swap, but once the leaky, grubby old motor and gearbox were out and the Tesla motor has been put in the location it has renewed my confidence that I had made the right choice. The old engine was the high horsepower twin carby model 40 kilowatts 😳
The new motor is 195 kilowatts, it will need de-tuning for some traction 😅.
