Another weekend at the race track Southern Go Kart Club, but this time from the other side of the fence.
Coaching and being a mechanic for our drivers at Jorge Gutierrez Racing this weekend gave us the chance to really focus on the little details. Plenty of positives to take away, valuable lessons learnt, and another step forward for both drivers.
A massive congratulations to Angus Telford on an incredible drive. After being caught up in a lap one incident, he never gave up, kept pushing, and charged his way back through the field to finish 2nd. A well-deserved result that showed plenty of determination and resilience.
Proud of Riley Boyce for not giving up, showing pace throughout the weekend and getting closer to the front runners, it was great to work with you and help you get more understanding of what it takes to get to the top.
A massive congrats to Nikki Watson who hasn’t been in a kart for over 6 months and was able to go purple 3 out of the 5 races, being in a new kart getting used to it after a few sessions.
Great weekend with the jgr team while it was a weird feeling being at a track not racing but loved every second of being on the other side of the fence and looking forward to doing more of it.
