We have just finished this awesome 1934 ford Hotrod, came in for Vintage Air install, the shop who built the car had already fitted the unit and condenser ( and done a great job) so we had the job of finishing it and making it work, we had to fit an electric compressor which I’m not to fond of due the capacity and amps they use, but no room on the engine, we mounted the compressor up the back behind the seat next to the battery, plumbed all the hoses through bulkhead fittings through the floor and secured the lines along the chassis rails, mounted the receiver drier in a billet bracket and rivnut it to the chassis, made a heat shield to protect the hoses near the engine and bulkhead the hoses through the floor to the unit, we had to cut the dash to fit the billet controller and billet centre vent, we mounted the side vents hidden up behind the dash not visible to the eye, we also had to plumb in the heater units a bulkhead fitting drilled through the firewall, can came up fantastic and it’s a credit to the builder and owner this car is bloody nice!
