It’s been a busy week of transmission repairs this week. We’ve repaired a couple of in-house vehicles and a couple of mail in DQ381/500 transmission ECU’s after experiencing some issues. All repairs carried out in house with a lifetime warranty on workmanship.

In addition to our previous transmission repair, we’ve been flat out with DQ381/DQ500 mechatronic repairs. Clutch position sensors are becoming problematic, but don’t require a complete replacement as the dealer would suggest. We’ve had multiple shipped to us from all over the East Coast and have been repaired and sent back in a super quick turnaround. We’ve been a pretty quiet on the socials of late. But we have been ridiculously busy of late with transmission repairs and rebuilds of VW DQ gearboxes. We’ve had a shift rail bearing failure on a DQ200 that was repaired with updated components so the failure doesn’t occur again.

MK7 Golf with a water damaged airbag module due to blocked A/C condensate drain. We replaced the condensate tube with an updated part that minimises bugs creating nests in it and fitted another module and programmed in house.

Sometimes life stops you in its tracks and really gets you to reevaluate everything!

It puts the important stuff into perspective.

This lady, is a friend, a customer and a mother to two young kids.

Right now, she is in the middle treatment and fighting the hardest fight of her life - to win this battle and continue to treasure every single day!
As amazing as she is at the fight itself ..financially she and her family need help.

A huge Congratulations to our newest fully qualified Technician!!

Cooper has finished his apprenticeship! He has become a super reliable and capable tradesperson and we are thankful for his efforts over the last few years.
Congratulations Cooper on completing your apprenticeship in Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
Well done Cooper, tremendous achievement and we are all very proud of you! 😃

Make sure to shake his hand and tell him how awesome he is next time you see him!

The things we do for passenger comfort. We diagnosed this 4L Audi Q7 a few weeks ago for a leaking rear A/C evaporator. This also results in a loss of refrigerant for the front A/C system. We replaced the failed evaporator as well as all seals and the TX valve. These jobs are always worth the effort.
