More 660XT Pics, Found some more I missed, bit out of sync, but still show's the build and how solid they are. Even Dave our shipwright hasn't built one this solid in 30 years of boatbuilding.

OMG, alot happening on the 660CC XT, running a bit behind on the photo's, but here's a few more of this Epic build!!! She's being seriously beefed up for the gyro, being overengineered to ensure no problems later, note extra transverse frames, but this is done in all hulls, then foam filled. Note the Recess for the Gyro 16mm Alloy plate, which will be secured and then laminated into the hull. She's solid at 850kilos without floor and fuel tank. She's going to ride real good!!! Some things you don't want light, this is no lightweight factory build, or Aluminium tin can!!!! We're going for it!!! Alot more to come, The reinforcing and strength built for the Gyro is amazing, this hull will be indestructable!!!!
Yes Gyro is coming, a Quick gyro MX3, More details on that later, boat doesn't need one, but why not!!! Let's give it a go, and will be trying some new technologies in this special boat!!!
We've gone for a custom walk through in the transom which makes life alot easier for shore access, swimming, snorkelling etc, and levelled out the motor well as well to make easier access. You might notice also a larger bilge space, and not much other under floor storage. Could have but I hate getting down on my knees reaching into underfloor storage, such a pain and difficult to reach fish in a kill tank, etc!!! But that's me. We will still have plenty of storage, Extra large console, Large cast platform, but not too large, Large Seat box and more.
But that's the beauty of building a new custom boat, you build what you want. Make sure you follow, more updates coming !!!

I'd rather have too much fuel and not have too carry jerry cans. What a pain in the ass, messy, taking up room and spilling fuel in a choppy sea. No thanks!!!

WOW!!!! 630lt Long range tank!!!! Now for those North Queensland fisherman, They know the Distances can be huge and alot of the southern boats only have 200 litre tanks, Barely enough to get to the reef and back? Years ago, on a mates boat, we had to watch the speed to conserve fuel and we had 60 litres in jerry cans, what a pain in the A!!!! Good sea boat, but when you're going slow in great weather, WTF!!!! But side note, We're getting 35 knot cruise speeds plus, with excellant economy at the same economy as these slow boats doing 20 to 25 knots. Bigger horsepower does it easy and uses the same fuel per kilometre, But BONUS big time savings on your day. It's how many litres per Kilometre you need to look at and what's your time worth????
Especially if 3, or 4 mates, Times your hourly rate??? We're saving at least 30 mins to an hour each way Travelling out to the Shipping channel, 40nm in an hour, not too mention 60nm to our wider spots, the Reef, or if going 80nm to our wide marks on a long range adventure. The 760CC with 400Hp, was getting 1km a litre at 40 knots!!!!
Yes, Power and a long range tank, compresses distances, and opens up more and better fishing spots!!!! and more fishing!!!
I was watching a Prominent Youtuber and his new boat, getting 1km a litre at 25 knots, and top speed of 38 knots, We cruise at 38 knots very regularly and get 1km a litre. I would be very disappointed.
This Demo 660CC XT is going to be very special, special hull layup, and some more goodies, setup treats planned to come. Stay tuned.
Check out the video on the Bonito Boats Australia Youtube channel, but the tank is about the biggest we can go, in a single fold, but I'm happy with 630 litres, with 1km a litre will give at least 600 km range and some reserve. For testing, we'll be doing a lot of day trips out wide and hopefully some 5 to 7 day mothershipping trips with Reefari Fishing Charters to the outer Great Barrier reef.
At 25, 30 knots, can get 1.1, 1.2km a litre if you want a bit more economy!!!! but it's hard to go slow. She'll still do 28 knots through the rough stuff.
Rob has done 100nm trips out to the hardline and continental shelf one way, with his 620XT express and a 380 litre tank, Amazing range and economy, in a trailerboat!!!
We etch prime the tanks, and epoxy coat for long life, and tanks are all built with 4mm Aluminum to Survey standards, welded and pressure tested to 4 bar for at least 6 hours to ensure no leaks, all fuel lines are survey rated and double clamped, and pressure tested again to 4 bars.
If you got this far, well done, feel free to call for a chat about boats and fuel economy, I've had and been in all the Bonito's

Great rig this one, and some awesome work by MK Custom Marine, A one of one at this stage Bonito 720 Giant Ram, Hull extension by Adam Milner as his own personal boat!!!! Very special, Congrats to the new owner!!! I might need to look at a similar lithium setup for the new 660XT?? Well done, Cheers Greg

She's a beauty!!! Just check out that hull shape and even better in the flesh, Full and deep, Awesome Deep V forward 53 Degree's comes back to 25 Deg in the stern, Still stable with the weight down low.
