Awesome Quick MC2 X3DC Gyro!!! WOW, WOW, WOW!!! the toys keep on coming!!! This will be amazing? Really looking forward to this. Alot so far has gone into the engineering and strengthening of the hull, 16mm Aluminium plate, laminated and bolted into the hull, overengineered and one of the toughest builds we've done so far, 660XT !!! Unreel!!!
Does the Bonito Boats Australia 660CC XT need a Gyro? No, they are actually a very good stable boat and we've never had a problem for a deep V, 25 degrees hull, Rides unreel and is an awesome hull and dependable predictable seaboat. Great size and that's why I've gone back to the 660, but let's see what this hull can do, More on Horsepower later?> I've told the missus it's all about product development and a Gyro will just make a good day great, easier fishing, cruising, anchoring, etc. We will keep you updated, the good, the bad, the ugly!!!!!
Feel free to message me for the full Specs data sheet on the X3 Gyro, but a great package, Air cooled, light weight at 130kgs, 12V, 42cm X 42cm X48cm. I did alot of research talking to Gyro owners, Reliability, the Air cooling was better for us than running water cooling, so no pumps, SW to worry about. Quick gyro's run in Air, not a vacuum like some brands and not as high RPM's, and seem to be more reliable over time? Minimal service requirements and great reliability over the years had me sold from other owners experience had me sold. Should be a simple install as well, let's see?
We've gone for a seatbox install, so will be watertight and some simple air ventilation. We do lose some storage unfortunately, which I was looking at using for a fridge, but oh well, Will work something out? The Gyro is positioned centrally in the boat aft, and deck level. I've seen too many mounted underfloor and don't like that idea, Very hard to keep water out? and sealed, Salt spray will corrode Steel, very quickly, yet alone if you flood your storage space which will inevitably happen one day!!! electronics? On deck in a watertight storage space for me!!!! with easy access. At least we should be able to keep the water out!!!
Mark from Gineico Marine has been awesome and she's all coming together, The electrical side with 400? 600 Amp hours of Lithium batteries being finalised and install by Bonito Boats Australiaan and MK CUSTOM MARINE

Better than Xmas, Great fun building a new boat and the goodies that can come with it, & plenty you can spend your hard earned dollars on now a days!!! and believe me, seems like unlimited amount of options too.
Do you need a Carbon Fibre Steering wheel? No but why the F not!!! This wheel is amazing, quality and so light, Can't wait to get it on the new 660XT, just one of the new things we'll be trying!!!! alot more goodies planned, Kick ASS travel oven arrived as well and looks a great bit of kit!!!
Getting closer, with the Motor booked in for the 10th August, and looking at fit out with MK MK CUSTOM MARINE Big horsepower, Electronic package and bigger stereo system for those long runs home!!!! So the Gyro will need some serious battery power, Matt is looking into that for us and so far, very professional and I'm sure he'll do an excellent job. He's got alot of homework to do. You can't afford to get it wrong with Lithium battery systems, have to be approved Marine systems and installations for insurance, but also for your engine warranties, Can void your new motor warranty?????
There are two big boats on the Mackay Hardstand which have had Lithium fires, a Big gameboat and Sailing yacht, so definately something to be aware of and your insurance company will be asking questions.

CONSOLE's In!!!! Alright, she's coming together, catching up a bit with the 660CC XT pics!!!
We've just been out for the week Reef fishing with Reefari Fishing Charters in 30 Plus knots and off course now we're back in, it glasses off for a week!!! How many boats are out today??? Everybody's out!!!
Check her out Consoles in, and looking great!!! We've gone the extra large console and extra large seat box. Mid size cast platform, as well. Heaps of space but soon goes, the beauty with a custom boat you get to measure out all the sizes, distances where you want. I talked through the layout with Adam and Jake, and got the exact size cast platform I wanted with a fore & aft hatch on Gas strut, 50cm back to Console, 50cm for space between Seat and Console to Maximise the Rear room behind seat which should be about 1.15m from memory. Large seat box will have a waterproof door for a Quick gyro too be installed!!! Some Awesome lux seats coming too!!! She's gonna be comfy, pretty well the same set up as Adam's 900CC, hard to beat!!! Double row of rod holders.
Getting pretty serious now, Full Simrad NSS 4, 16" Electronic package and kick Ass stereo system being finalised, Fit out by MK MK CUSTOM MARINE OZI Alloy trailer 3.5tonne trailer build well under way!!! Full Fibreglass hardtop and Custom Aluminium frame to top it all off and still more to come. Exciting stuff and some nice toys to add to a new build, Make sure you follow and more updates to come!!! Serious Horsepower soon!!!

Bonito 660CC XT, now joined, another step closer, all fibreglassed and ultrabonded together!!!! Makes for one solid boat, all our boats are all fully fibeglassed together, Have a look next time, amazing how many are screwed and sikaflexed together??? No creaks or groans!!!! Starting to look like a boat!!! Can't wait!!!

Floors IN!!!!! You beauty!!! 660CC XT!!! and what a beast she's becoming!!!! Hope you've seen the Kick test!!! doesn't budge!!! all fully foamed filled as well, solid as F_?!. Note the big 16mm Aluminium plate, built into the hull, Great base for the Quick Gyro X2 which will fit in beautifully in our extra large seat box. There an awesome bit of gear, Simple, Air cooled, reliable and very compact, 12V, relatively light at 135kg but pack alot of punch. Been amazing, alot of interest in the Gyro???? Looking forward to it!!! Will keep you updated on how it all goes.
She'll be a solid boat, Extra large 630lt long range fuel tank installed, Heavy layup plus gyro, plus custom Cast platform, The ride is going to be next level. You don't want a factory light weight build or Aluminium boat, Great hull plus weight, is your friend when things get messy. I've had these 660's doing 36 knots through a metre plus sea!!! Incredible and can't wait to do it again!!!
If you want the technical specs, layup and construction, best to call Adam( Factory 0426 260 015) and have a chat, these XT hulls are no sticker pack.
I've gone for a mid sized cast platform, very customisable with Adam and Jake, and gone for the big hatch, fore and aft on struts, heaps of storage and room for access, got the exact length I wanted, then spaced out the distance back to the large console, allowed the 50cm I wanted between Console and seat, which then gave great space of 1.15m from seat to rear bulkhead, That's the difference where you can really set your boat up the way you want!!!! Quite a choice now of consoles, seat boxes, cast platorms etc. endless really and get the boat built the way you want!!!! Built to suit what you need and how you fish. We'll be doing a lot of fast day trips, and more tender use. I Don't see us overnighting on her, but would be easy to build a real adventure boat if you wanted!!!
I've had countless boats and Bonito's now over the years and I wanted something special and push some boundaries, More to come,
