Founded by Tim Hill in 2014, our first events were held at our Doonan DTF facility, the focus being on providing a safe friendly environment for anyone to come, enjoy and e

xperience motorsport, whether is was your first time or a seasoned competitor. The club is focused on supporting and providing guidance and sharing knowledge with all it's members and visitors alike. The club runs 10-12 Sprint events each year across 4 locations and has been involved in the local community for over 10 years now, supporting local charities through fund raising initiatives and sponsorship of our events. The club members are welcoming and helpful to those just starting out in motorsport or to those more experienced that want to run at our track days. We currently have members aged from 12 to 84 years who enjoy our fun but challenging events across the coast and beyond.

No experience necessary. TRAINING will be provided as well as LUNCH and DRINKS throughout the day, plus you'll be in the 'front seat' of all the ACTION on track!

ALSO: Marshal at a minimum 2 club events get FREE ENTRY in any upcoming Doonan rounds.

SCMSC now has a long-term lease securing the Fellowship Drive Doonan Track — officially making this our home 🔥

This is a massive milestone for the club and the future of grassroots motorsport on the Sunshine Coast 👊

So what’s next?
🔥 Track expansion plans already underway
🔥 More layout options
🔥 Future ability for 2 cars on track at once
🔥 Planned increase of event entries by up to 50%
🔥 Expanded competitor staging & parking areas

We’ll also be actively seeking sponsors, grants and trackside signage partners moving forward.

ENTRIES are OPEN for our biggest event of the year!
SCMSC COASTAL FASTENERS SUNSHINE COAST SPRINTS!! 🏁

A 1.1km Sprint on service roads around the Nambour Showgrounds. It's a technical track with hill elevation, chicanes, many turns and a flying finish. 12 classes, 1st 2nd 3rd trophies in every class, 125 max entries. Typically 10 or more runs. Passenger runs allowed (in registered vehicles only). This event gets bigger and better each year. Get your entries in now!

Non-members $350 / Members $300

Nambour Showgrounds:
Racing Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd August 2026
Sign-in and Scrutineering from 3pm Friday 31st July.
Camping available for Entrants from Friday to Sunday night.

Spectator Entry: $10pp each day (children under 12 free)
Food Trucks with Coffee, Cold Drinks & Hot Food
Gates Open: 9am Saturday & Sunday
Club Merchandise will be for sale at the Main Gate
