Ampol South Hay is currently looking for friendly and enthusiastic people with customer service or cooking skills to join our team.

🔴 What the job involves (depending on shift):
• Customer service
• Barista
• Cooking
• Cleaning
• Restocking

🔵 What we’re looking for:
• Positive attitude – enthusiastic and willing to help
• Teamwork – able to work cooperatively with others in a busy environment
• Work ethic – motivated and takes initiative when needed, sees what needs doing and does it
• Customer service – friendly, polite and confident when talking to customers

🔴 Bonus points for:
• Cooking skills – cooking in a café/take away food environment would be greatly beneficial
• Good availability – ability to work mornings, afternoon/nights, weekends.

🔵 Hours and Pay
• Shifts are up to 8hr in length
• Permanent part time available for candidates with suitable availability.
• Higher rates for afternoon and night shifts.
• Up 30-40 hours per week depending on skills and availability
• Casual base rate over $35/hr

Hannah Edmonds - South Hay

January's employee of the month is Hannah Edmonds from Ampol South Hay. This is what Hannah's site manager had to say when she nominated Hannah.

"Hannah is a fantastic asset to our team and brings outstanding positivity and energy to the workplace. She consistently has a friendly, bubbly attitude and goes out of her way to make both customers and colleagues feel welcome. Her approachability and enthusiasm naturally translate into excellent customer service.
Hannah is always striving to do her best and is very receptive to feedback, consistently taking it on board and using it to improve her performance. She shows a genuine willingness to learn and grow in her role.
She is also always happy to lend a hand and regularly steps up to cover additional shifts when needed. During the school holiday period in particular, Hannah has picked up many extra shifts and has really been shining. Her reliability, teamwork, and dedication do not go unnoticed.
Hannah’s contribution has had a very positive impact on our site, and I believe she is thoroughly deserving of this recognition."

Employee of the Month

A huge congratulations to Jaidyn Wilson on being November’s employee of the month for all four of our sites.

Jaidyn’s site manager Rachael, had this to say when nominating Jaidyn.

I would like to nominate Jaidyn for this month’s Employee of the Month.

Jaidyn consistently demonstrates exceptional teamwork and reliability. He is always willing to jump in wherever needed, happily swapping shifts and adjusting his roster to support the team without hesitation.

Despite being one of our juniors, Jaidyn has developed outstanding customer service skills and maintains a positive, can-do attitude every shift. He works well with all staff members and contributes to a supportive and productive work environment.

Over the past few months, with the guidance of the team and management, Jaidyn has truly flourished in his role. His growth, dedication, and willingness to go above and beyond make him an excellent candidate for Employee of the Month.

Also, congratulations to Sereena Thacher for being nominated this month. Keep up the awesome work Sereena.
