As another Speedway season disappears faster than a Limited Sprint off the start line, it's time to wrap up the 2026 season and say a few thank yous.

To our drivers – thank you for providing the thrills, the spills, the close racing, and occasionally some creative interpretations of the racing line. We appreciate every lap, every race, and every bit of entertainment you brought to the track.

To our committee members and volunteers – thank you for the endless hours of work behind the scenes. While everyone else was enjoying the racing, you were setting up, packing up, solving problems, answering questions, and somehow keeping the whole show on the road. You're the real horsepower of the club.

To our spectators – thank you for coming along, cheering loudly, buying raffle tickets, supporting the canteen, and pretending not to notice when things didn't quite go to plan. Speedway wouldn't be the same without you.

To our sponsors – thank you for backing our club and helping us keep the gates open, the lights on, and the cars on the track. Your support is greatly appreciated and we couldn't do it without you.

And finally, thank you to everyone who was part of the 2026 season. Whether you raced, volunteered, sponsored, officiated, spectated, or just came for the drinks, you helped make it a season to remember.

Now it's time to put the cars in the shed, wash the dust out of places we didn't know dust could get into, and start planning how we're going to do it all again next season.

Have a safe off-season, and we'll see you all back at the track next year for more action, more laughs, and hopefully fewer red lights and flat tyres!
