Another cool car out the door!
Genuine Ford Cortina Lotus.
A full carby rebuild and retune done, multiple fuel and oil leaks.
Nut and bolt check, oil change for the dry sump system.
A custom bonnet stay, trans tunnel mount and battery mount also fabricated up while it was here.

Complete engine rebuild done and dusted, built bottom end with forged rods and pistons, ARP head studs, rebuilt head with new valves, guides and all seals. Custom headgasket to suit the SOHC head.

This engine was a crusty gunk covered pile of parts when it came in, now it’s ready to go for maximum power.

Man what a cool car, Barra and ZF8HP AUTO swapped R32 Skyline in this brilliant orange.

We had to custom fabricate a gearbox crossmember to suit the new conversion and modify the exhaust to suit.
A number of hours in this little project but it’s going to be so worth it!

For anything custom or mechanical, head down to see us at PRS and we will get you on sorted!

Our good friend Jeff trusted us with his pride and joy, after a decade of ownership this car needed some love here and there.
After a check over and diagnosis of some clunks and bumps we sorted him out.
New starter motor, drive shaft centre bearing, rear axles, sway bar bushes, set of tyres, driveline oils and fix an annoying sticky door lock.
She’s good to go for some time to come!

Nice job to start the mechanical side of PRS off, as a fully licensed workshop we can carry out anything from engine swaps like this to logbook servicing.
This car came in with a bad engine, a new quality engine sourced and some new gallery gaskets which are known to fail. Topped up with quality Penrite fluids to keep this motor purring for a long time to come.
