We are thrilled to announce that our team members achieved outstanding results in the Mercedes-Benz Technician of the Year 2026 competition, with Peter Briggs finishing 2nd and Archie Rousell taking 3rd place.

After two days of intensive practical hands-on evaluations and theory-based assessments, the top six finalists showcased exceptional technical expertise, real-world diagnostic challenges, product knowledge and professionalism.

By reaching the finals and delivering such impressive performances, Peter and Archie showcased the dedication, skill, and commitment to excellence that define our team.

Daimler Truck Australia Pacific Vice President of Service, Product, VPC and Elite, Stephen Downes, says the capability on display was exceptional.

“Truck technicians are absolutely critical to success of our customers, so it is important that we identify and celebrate the best of the best,” Mr Downes says.
