Happy birthday to this legend! (The one in foreground. Although I hope his doppelganger in the background is having a great day too 😆).

As a lot of you have probably already figured out, Shane truly loves his job (and is always up for a chat 😆), so for his birthday today, he’s doing what he loves - working on cars, and no doubt having a chat with whoever he’s visiting 😁

Shane works so hard, and is such a happy, friendly guy… with such a great sense of humour 😆. And as you probably know, he’s also naturally drawn to helping literally everyone he meets. So on this day, we celebrate the legend that is Shane!

If you see him out and about today, feel free to wish him a happy birthday!

It’s been a while between social media posts, but yes, we are still here!

We’re actually heading into our ninth year of business this year and we’re still loving it as much as ever! 😁

Those who have had Shane work on their car this year may have noticed that he has a brand new truck. It’s a bit of an upgrade from the old truck, so Shane’s been a bit stoked with life this year and I’m sure has taken any opportunity to show off the new rig 😁

We also just wanted to give a shoutout to Front-line Signs for their help with the signage for the new truck. We got them to do the signage for our old truck when we first started, and we were so happy with their work that we didn’t even think twice about trusting them again this time. We think it turned out great! 😁

Thanks for teaching me how to drive.

Thanks for our autocross days (also thanks for fixing the car when I crash it 😂)

And thanks for fixing little things on our cars whenever I break them.

Since I’ve now got my L’s, I’m excited to have a mechanic as a Dad. Although I’m sure you feel differently. 😂

[ We’re back from holidays! ]

We had the most wonderful break in Kalbarri and Coral Bay, and now we’re all refreshed and Shane’s back to work!

[ Taking a two week break ]

Shane will be away from the 18th of August until the 6th of September.

Just taking some much needed family time 😊

He’ll be back on the 6th of September.

Any messages or calls he gets during his time off will be returned once he’s back. So if he doesn’t answer during those dates, please don’t think he’s ignoring you! He’ll be back on the 6th, and he definitely wants to help you with all your vehicle servicing and repairs 😊

If you have anything you’d like done before he puts his phone away for a couple of weeks, please get in contact with him as soon as you can and he’ll do his best to schedule your car in before the 18th.

Christmas / New Years Hours

After a few days off over Christmas & Boxing Day, Shane is now back to work as usual.

So if you’re needing your car serviced or repaired, feel free to send Shane a message via Facebook or on 0427590499 and we can work out a time for him to come and work on your car, while you relax in the comfort of the air con of your home 🙌🏼

(Also, Shane is planning on a taking a week or two off at the start of February, so if you’re needing something done to your car around then, just let him know in advance and he’ll be able to book your car in for before or after he’s away, depending on what suits you best).

How’s everyone’s December going? We’ve been flat out here at Ashmore Mobile Mechanics - but what a fun month!

Something I love about December is seeing the kids so happy when we participate in family traditions.

We love Carols By Candlelight, and driving around looking at the Christmas lights, and walking around Dunstan Street in the nights before Christmas, and the kids LOVE when Santa drives around our neighbourhood in the fire truck, handing out lollies.

December is always such a fun month 🎄
