❤️ A MASSIVE THANK YOU FROM LAID OUT WHITEWALLS! ❤️

With only 2 and a half months to go until Christmas, I want to take a moment to sit back, reflect on the year that’s been, and give a MASSIVE thank you to every single person who has been part of the Laid Out Whitewalls journey.

To everyone who has been with me since the beginning, backed me, supported me, recommended me, shared my work, and trusted me with your pride and joy — THANK YOU! And to all the new customers who have come along throughout the year and put their trust in Laid Out Whitewalls, I appreciate every single one of you more than you probably realise.

When I started this journey, I set myself goals. Every year, I push myself to go further, do better, take on different vehicles, challenge myself, and keep growing both personally and as a business. Whether it’s the types of vehicles I get to wall or the number of vehicles I can complete throughout the year, I’m always looking for ways to raise the bar and keep moving forward.

This year, I’ve absolutely SMASHED every single goal I set for myself except ONE! And honestly, I couldn’t be happier with how things have turned out. The one goal still sitting on the list is getting my hands on an old American pickup to wall — so if you’ve got one sitting in the shed, you know what to do!

One thing that makes this year’s achievements even more special is that Laid Out Whitewalls is something I run around my regular commitments, with all my walling jobs done on weekends. Every vehicle that comes through is time, effort, dedication, and a whole lot of passion going into doing the job right. To see how busy things have become and how far this little business has come is something I’m genuinely proud of.

Behind every set of walls is a customer who has chosen to support my business. Every booking, every recommendation, every share, every bit of feedback, and every person who spreads the word helps keep this dream moving forward. You might think it’s just a set of walls, but to me, it’s another opportunity to build my reputation, improve my craft, and show people what Laid Out Whitewalls is all about.

I never want to take that support for granted. I know there are plenty of places people can choose, and the fact that you choose to trust me with your vehicles means a hell of a lot.

As we head towards the end of another year, I’m already looking forward to what’s next, the new challenges, the different vehicles, and the goals I’ll be setting for myself in the year ahead. If this year is anything to go by, there’s plenty more to come!

So, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! To the original supporters, the returning customers, the new faces, the people who recommend us, and everyone who has helped Laid Out Whitewalls get to where it is today — this wouldn’t be possible without you.

Your support keeps me motivated, keeps me pushing, and reminds me why I started this journey in the first place.

🔥 THIS HJ KINGA IS BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER! 🔥

Some utes just have that unmistakable old-school Holden attitude, and Bodie's Holden HJ Kingswood ute is one of those machines that commands a second look. When we last saw this seriously clean Kinga around this time last year, it was already a tidy bit of gear. Fast-forward to today, and it’s safe to say this old-school weapon has stepped things up another level!

Bodie’s been busy making some changes, and the latest round of upgrades has given this HJ a whole new lease on life. Undergoing a heart transplant, this Kingswood is now packing V8 power, bringing an entirely new level of attitude to an already impressive package. There’s just something about a classic Holden ute backed by V8 muscle that never gets old. It’s the sort of combination that belongs in the Australian street machine scene, where tough old-school styling and serious mechanical upgrades go hand in hand.

But the changes don’t stop under the bonnet! The Kinga has also scored itself a fresh set of rims and tyres, completely changing the look and adding another layer of toughness to its already clean presentation. And when you’ve gone to the effort of upgrading the rolling stock on a classic like this, you need that finishing touch to bring the entire package together.

That’s where Laid Out Whitewalls came into the picture!

We treated Bodie’s HJ to a brand-new set of crisp 9mm RED WALLS, and the result speaks for itself. Against the fresh rims and tyres, those red walls add exactly the sort of colour and old-school character this Kinga deserves. They break up the black of the tyre sidewalls, draw your eyes straight to the wheels and give the ute that unmistakable custom street machine flavour.

The beauty of a set of coloured walls is how they can transform the overall presentation without taking away from the vehicle itself. On Bodie’s HJ, the 9mm red walls provide just the right amount of contrast, adding a sharp splash of colour while complementing the tough, traditional Holden styling. They don’t overpower the build; they finish it. Every time you look at the ute, your eyes are drawn to the details, and those red walls help tie the entire look together beautifully.

What really stands out about this HJ, though, is how well the ute comes together as a complete package. There’s a big difference between simply fitting a few upgrades and building something that looks right from every angle. This Kingswood has that cohesive, well-presented appearance that makes you appreciate the time, thought and effort going into it. The combination of classic Holden lines, the new V8 heart, fresh wheels and tyres, and those razor-sharp red walls gives it a seriously tough presence.

And after having a good chat with Bodie about what else he has planned for this old-school Holden, we can honestly say we’re bloody keen to see what comes next! If the changes already made are anything to go by, this Kinga’s story is far from finished. With more plans in the pipeline, we reckon there’s plenty more to look forward to as this build continues to evolve.

For now, one thing is certain: Bodie’s HJ Kingswood ute is looking exceptionally clean, and those fresh 9mm red walls have added the perfect finishing touch to its latest transformation.
