Truck & Automotive Mechanics / Diesel Fitters (Full-Time)
Operating out of Dalby, Brackens Field Maintenance provides expert mechanical servicing and repairs for earth-moving equipment, trucks, utes and heavy machinery—whether in our workshop or on-site. With a friendly, hands-on approach and a reputation for dependable workmanship, we help keep local businesses and the farming community running smoothly.
The opportunity
We’re expanding our workshop team and seeking experienced Truck Mechanics and Automotive Mechanics to join us full-time. You’ll work alongside service professionals who take pride in delivering an exceptional standard of work for our customers.

About you
- Trade-qualified Light OR Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.May consider 4th year apprentice.
- Diagnostic experience with CAT, Detroit and Cummins (highly regarded)
- Strong component diagnosis and overhaul experience
- Well-developed communication and customer service skills
- Able to work both in a team and unsupervised
- Committed to workplace health & safety and high housekeeping standards
- Aligned with Brackens Field Maintenance policies and procedures
- Focused on quality control, continuous improvement and meeting schedules
- Current driver’s licence
- Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol testing
- Beneficial: basic computer skills (POS and inventory systems)
