A MASSIVE THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS
Where do we even begin…
From the moment we decided to put on the Lowood Truck Show, the love, support and generosity we have received has been absolutely overwhelming.
Today wasn’t just about trucks.
It was about people, community, families, mateship and coming together — and looking around Lowood today, we couldn’t have been prouder.
To every truck driver who polished up their rig, made the trip and rolled into Lowood — you were the heart of our show. Seeing those trucks coming through town was something we will never forget.
To our incredible sponsors — without your generosity and belief in what we were trying to achieve, today simply wouldn’t have been possible.
To our volunteers — the people behind the scenes who gave their time, worked their backsides off and jumped in wherever they were needed — THANK YOU.
To our stall holders and food vendors — thank you for bringing so much life, variety and atmosphere to the grounds.
To the Lowood Showgrounds — thank you for giving us a place to bring this crazy idea to life.
🎶 To our music, our MC and our auctioneer — thank you for keeping the atmosphere alive, the laughs coming and the crowd entertained.
To our committee — for the countless hours, phone calls, messages, organising, worrying, planning and hard work that nobody sees… we did it!
And finally…
To every single family, child and supporter who lined the streets of Lowood to watch those trucks roll through town — WOW.
Seeing the streets lined with people waving, smiling and cheering as the trucks came through was a moment that will stay with us for a very long time.
Every person who attended, donated, shared a post, sponsored us, volunteered, brought a truck, bought something, grabbed a feed, waved from the roadside or simply told us, “You’re doing a great job” — YOU were part of making today what it was.
We are exhausted.
We are emotional.
But most of all, we are incredibly grateful and proud.
