GUS GOT A GREAT WORKOUT!

Steve recently returned from his maiden adventure in his freshly built LC200 Sahara, checkout the below from the man himself!
"This is exactly what we built GUS for. We’ve just completed an incredible 7,750 km journey through the heart of Australia, taking in some of the country’s most iconic destinations including Uluru, Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), Kings Canyon, Palm Valley, the Mereenie Loop, and both the West and East MacDonnell Ranges. From long highway days to corrugations, low-range rocky tracks and remote outback country, the vehicle was put to the test across every type of terrain.

The TJM build performed flawlessly from start to finish. The Lovells Platinum 4200 GVM suspension delivered outstanding comfort and control over thousands of kilometres while carrying a fully loaded touring setup, and it inspired confidence through the low-range rocky sections of Palm Valley and the MacDonnell Ranges. The bar work gave us the confidence to venture into remote country knowing the vehicle was protected, while the snorkel handled the dusty conditions with ease.

The onboard air compressor made airing down for the tracks and back up for the highway quick and effortless, while the dual battery system kept our fridge and accessories powered throughout the trip without missing a beat. Combined with the Brown Davis long-range fuel tank, we had the freedom to spend more time exploring and less time worrying about fuel stops, opening up some of Australia’s most remote and spectacular places.

Every component worked exactly as it was designed to, making the whole vehicle feel like one complete touring package. When you’re travelling through the heart of Australia, reliability isn’t a luxury—it’s essential. A huge thanks to Kurt and the team at TJM for building GUS into such a capable and reliable tourer. We couldn’t be happier with the build, and we’re already planning the next adventure and next upgrades"
