WILDLIFE WEDNESDAY 🦘

One of our most iconic Aussie locals here at Swan Lake! 💚

Eastern Grey Kangaroos are a familiar sight around the park and surrounding bushland, often spotted grazing in the early morning or late afternoon. 🌅

These beautiful animals are usually quite relaxed, spending their days resting in the shade and feeding on grasses. If you’re lucky, you might even spot a little joey peeking out of its mum’s pouch! 🦘

Remember look, but don’t touch or feed! Kangaroos are wild animals, so always admire them from a safe distance and give them plenty of space.

There’s something pretty special about sharing our little piece of paradise with these beautiful Aussie icons! 💚

WILDLIFE WEDNESDAY 🦜

With their stunning red and blue feathers, Crimson Rosellas are a beautiful sight around the park and surrounding bushland.

These gorgeous birds are often spotted in the trees or foraging on the ground for seeds and other natural treats.

Remember to look, but don’t feed! Feeding wildlife can be harmful, so let’s keep our feathered friends happy and healthy in their natural environment.

This much-loved annual community event raises funds for Sussex Inlet Marine Rescue and will also provide a $1,000 donation to Sussex Foundation for Community Development (Youth).
