Classic cars are beautiful, valuable—and sadly, a big target for thieves. But with a few precautions, you can seriously reduce the risk:

✅ Always lock your doors
✅ Store it in a garage (with cameras if you can)
✅ Use a steering wheel lock or wheel clamp
✅ Install a hidden kill switch
✅ Fit a GPS tracker
✅ Add a modern alarm or immobiliser
✅ Don’t overshare online—protect your info
✅ Use a car cover when parked outside
✅ Never leave your keys in or near the car
✅ Insure it properly for agreed value & theft

G’day folks, it’s Caravan Kev here with some must-know advice to help you stay safe, secure, and stress-free on your next campsite adventure.

Before you kick back under the awning, make sure you’ve got the basics sorted:

✅ Park on level, stable ground
✅ Keep cooking gear away from the van
✅ Check for fire bans and have water on hand
✅ Lock up at night—even in the bush
✅ Use proper power leads and don’t overload sockets
✅ Store water safely and manage waste properly
✅ Don’t feed the wildlife (even accidentally!)
✅ Keep a stocked first aid kit, torch, and extinguisher handy
✅ Know where you are—especially when off-grid
✅ And if it doesn’t feel right? Move on.

Camping should be relaxing—but a little prep goes a long way when you’re out in the sticks.

✅ Gear up—helmet, jacket, gloves, boots every time
✅ Check your bike—tyres, brakes, lights, fuel
✅ Be smooth—no jerky throttle or braking
✅ Ride to be seen—assume drivers haven’t spotted you
✅ Take breaks—pull over if you feel flustered
✅ Go at your own pace—confidence > speed
