We’re getting rid of the old bird’s nest of wiring and starting fresh, making sure everything is neat, safe and reliable for years to come.

One very spicy LS1 we’ve just finished up for Nick 🌶️

We’ve put together a forged combo using oversized CP pistons, Spool I-Beam rods and ACL bearings, paired with a BTR turbo LS camshaft, dual valve springs, CHE trunnions and plenty of other goodies throughout.

A lot of work has gone into getting this engine right and we can’t wait to hear it fire up once Nick’s got it back in the car.

And have a look at that turbo… 😳 Should be a bit of fun.

Reece has finally collected his 75 Series after a pretty major rebuild through the workshop, and it’s safe to say this one has had a serious freshen up from front to back. 👌

We kicked things off with a full cab respray, then supplied and fitted a new tray complete with a custom taillight board, under-tray toolboxes and guards. Up front we fitted an ARB bullbar and Warn winch, and custom built a set of rock sliders in-house to finish it off.

Inside got plenty of attention too — fresh vinyl flooring, wiring tidy-up, new sound system and UHF, along with all new switches, handles, sunvisors and plenty of those little finishing touches that make a big difference.

Underneath, we rebuilt the rear diff and fitted a Harrop ELocker, along with new tailshafts, brakes and bearings all round. We also retrofitted air conditioning and worked through all the smaller mechanical and electrical jobs along the way.

A heap of work has gone into this old girl, with the goal of keeping that classic 75 Series feel while making it look, drive and perform like new again.

Awesome to see Reece finally behind the wheel and taking it back home. Thanks again for trusting us with the build mate — enjoy it! 🤙

The original, biggest and richest North Queensland street car shootout returns to Townsville for 2026, presented by Performance Parts Plus.

See key information for our biggest event of the year below:

Date: Saturday September the 12th 2026.

Location: DriveIt, Calcium Townsville

Event time: 12pm to 8:30pm.

Event format: 1/8th mile/200 metre no prep racing on the front straight of the DriveIt NQ circuit track.

Event rules: Current road registered cars only. Driver must hold current Queensland drivers licence or equivalent licence.

Racer information: $150 racer entries, limited to 120 cars. Classes as follows;

YTB Mechanical & Performance Weekend Warriors (6.50 index)

YTB Mechanical and Performance True Street (7.60 index)

All Out Auto Electrical Dial Your Own (cars).

Bike Taxi BIKE CLASS.

All classes pay $1000 to win, $200 to runner up.
